Xtended SC 2000 Spinning Coaster for the perfect Xtended introduction The Xtended SC 2000 is the consummate spinning coaster, combining the advantages of a standard product with the uniquely exciting sensation of an Xtended ride. Despite its compact construction, the SC 2000 Spinning Coaster s impressive ride elements offer an unforgettable experience usually found only on significantly larger coasters. First drop Thanks to the noiseless antirollback dog, the climb is completely silent. Then the fun begins with the first drop! Plunging downward in a sideways position, the car reaches the ride s maximum speed of 60km/h (38 mph) in the sheer drop. After climbing the steep ascent opposite the drop, spinning is unlocked and the car begins rotating at up to 20 revolutions per minute. Pure fun and excitement! Immelmann-Turn In the Immelmann Turn, the track being banked at 80, passengers find themselves staring straight up at the sky or straight down at ground depending on their position in the car at any given instant. A fascinating sight for both passengers and observers watching from the ground! Permanent suspense The highly diverse coaster track layout ensures requisite speed and breathtaking excitement for the entire ride. A 360 carousel, a slalom section and sharp curves add the crowning touches. At the end of the ride, an automatic car alignment device stops the cars from rotating as they move into the station fixed in a lengthwise direction. 3
Spinning cars The spinning cars seat four persons and travel through the coast as an independent unit. A pivot bearing between the passenger car and the undercarriage converts the centrifugal forces generated in the curves into rotations. The four passengers sit back to back, separated by a bucket seat which prevents the body from being exposed to uncomfortable levels of stress during the dynamic rotations. Looking outward from the centre of rotation over the front panel of the car will give passengers that extra kick. You won t find a more direct or intense coaster experience anywhere! Diversity on every ride Each ride is entirely different than the one before. The movements of the cars always depend on the distribution of passenger weight and the course of the track, making each ride a whole new adventure. The ride configurations are determined by the random movement of the cars forward, backward or even sideways, guaranteeing ever-changing adventure no matter how many times a passenger takes a ride. The unrivalled centrifugal brake assures that the ride remains safe and that the rotational speed does not become unpleasant. Foundationless and mobile The Xtended SC 2000 comes standard-equipped with a steel base. It is thus possible to assemble the coaster on any flat surface, without a separate foundation being required. In addition, the construction is easy to dismantle and relocate should the originally chosen location need to be changed.
