WHAT TO BRING/IMPORTANT NOTES: Overnight Campers Each camper will be staying in an air-cooled dorm on campus. There will be two campers per room and six campers per suite in most cases. We do our best to accommodate roommate requests and will have room assignments at registration on the first day. Each camper must bring bed linens, a pillow, bath towel and any personal care items needed during their stay at camp. No linens will be provided by the camp staff. The mattresses in each room are XL Twins. From past experience, we also encourage campers to bring a light blanket and/or sweatshirt as the dorms are sometimes "Chilly" in the evenings. Each camper needs to bring plenty of training gear to get them through the week. (cleats, sneakers, shorts, t-shirts, socks, shin guards, etc,) Campers are also encouraged to bring sunscreen. Each camper must bring a soccer ball with their name clearly marked. Each camper must bring any necessary medications they need for the week. Please make sure each camper/parent alerts the athletic trainer on duty during camp check-in of any medications campers are taking. Each camper will have the opportunity to order additional meals after the last training session is over each day. Please bring extra spending money if they wish to order additional food other than the meals provided. Snacks, gear and t-shirts will be available in the camp store. (The meals ordered through our restaurant partner range from $12/Large Pizza to $7-$10 individual meal) Each camper will have the opportunity to visit the camp store which will have Snacks, Drinks, Candy, Nike shirts, shorts and balls on sale. If they wish to purchase any gear from camp this is the opportunity to do so. Each camper will be provided with drinks during training sessions and with all meals, but are encouraged to bring additional drinks such as Bottled Water, Gatorade, PowerAde, etc., to help hydrate themselves each day during their downtime. Each room will have a small dorm refrigerator and small microwave for campers use. Campers are encouraged to bring snacks/drinks as they see fit. Please avoid sending peanut butter or nut related snacks as there is a growing number of campers with nut allergies. To ensure the safety of all campers, camp staff will do bed checks of each dorm room at 11:00 p.m. each night. Rutgers Soccer Academy will be the only camp housed in the residence hall during this week. Each camper will be provided with a key to the room and a keycard. It is the responsibility of each camper to keep track of their own key and keycard. If a key or keycard is lost during camp, the camper will be responsible for the $100 replacement charge prior to checking out. While at camp, each camper is responsible for their own soccer ball, cleats and personal belongings. Rutgers Soccer Academy is not responsible for any items lost or stolen.

Please note that Crosby Suites and all buildings on campus are non-smoking facilities. Any campers found with lighters, candles, incense or cigarettes will be immediately sent home from camp. Small TV's, Laptop computers and handheld games will be allowed but RSA does not take responsibility for any damages or lost items while on campus. Campers are responsible for any fines incurred during their stay on campus. Any camper that tampers with or damages any fire equipment will be sent home immediately and are subject to any costs incurred because of the incident. RSA Camp staff will stay on campus with campers in Crosby Suites at all times. Per University rules, we are required to house at least a 12-1 camper-to-staff ratio in the dorms. GATORADE SUMMER SPORTS CAMP PROGRAM Rutgers Soccer Academy is participating in the Gatorade Summer Sports Camp Program again this year. In addition to providing water on the fields, Gatorade will distribute Gatorade Thirst Quencher and Whey Protein Recover bars. Gatorade Thirst Quencher replaces electrolytes and fluids you lose while you sweat. It also has carbohydrates in it, which gives you energy when you're on the field. Gatorade Whey Protein Recover Bars help your body recover and get ready for the next day. The Whey Protein bars contain high quality protein and carbs to fuel muscle recovery AFTER activity. It helps bring muscles back to life! Please note, the Whey Protein Recover bars should NOT be consumed by campers with milk allergies, as it contains whey, a milk based protein. CAMPUS DINING: All meals are mandatory and will be provided cafeteria style in the Busch Dining Hall with the exception of dinner on Sunday, July 23rd. Those meals will be catered into Crosby Suites main lobby. Meal Start Times: Breakfast - 7:30 a.m. Lunch - 11:30 a.m. Dinner - 4:30 p.m. Campers will have several entree options at each meal and there will always be a vegetarian choice.
