As I stated before our A s are getting old and need a lot more attention than our If you haven t changed you radiator coolant for some time this may be the cause for overheating. Before putting in new coolant, and after draining out the old coolant buy some Lestoil laundry additive, add fresh water to the radiator and put A U G U S T, 2 0 1 8 will come out. You may have to repeat this one more time before adding your new coolant, but this could cure your overheating. I hope this tip will help keep you on the road. Model A Restorer s Downriver A s Region Meeting Minutes of July 9, 2018 Meeting Minutes: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President, Jimmy Smith. Introduction of New Guest: There were none at this meeting. Thinking of: Diana Nagle. (Charles Wycoff spoke during this segment thanking the club for the cards during his recovery he was very appreciative. Charles brought a special treat of cupcakes for all to enjoy. Thank you Charles). Vice President s Report: The Downriver Cruise on June 30 th turned out to be a nice HOT DAY for this event with approximately 9 cars on site. On July 14 th there will be a swap meet at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Belleville. July 15 th is the deadline for registration for the Old Car Festival at The Henry Ford. The festival dates are September 8 th & 9 th. Check their website for more details and application. On July 21 st our group will meet at the Rams Horn Restaurant on Fort Street at 8:30 a.m. This event will be hosted by Jimmy and Shirley Smith. We will follow them to the Piquette Plant for a tour lasting approximately 1 ½ hours. The tour starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. At the conclusion we will return to the Rams Horn for lunch. On September 27-29th the Grand Blanc Script A Region of Model A s will be hosting the Michigan Fall Round-up.

Treasurer s Report: Accepted as written by Sonny Bruner. Secretary s Report: Accepted as written by Kathy Sylvester. Library Report: No report given tonight. Editor s Report: Mike Schultz reported that the website domain has been purchased and he is presently working on the background. It should be up and running in the next 2/3 weeks. Mike asked for a tool and library list to be able to include this information on our new website. Tool Report: Greg Pierce report that the distributor reamer and the spring spreader are out at this time. Brake Time & 50/50 Raffle: David Jessie won $15.00 tonight. New Business: The club picnic will be held on August 25 th at Roger & Roberta Holl s residence. A signup sheet was passed around for you to list what you would like to bring to the picnic. Tent set-up time is at 11:00 a.m. and we will be eating at 1:00 p.m. Bring your own chair and beverage along with your passing dish. Technical Section: Lee Reed was explaining the difficulty he was having with certain repairs on his car. Meeting Adjourned - 8:15 p.m. Next Meeting - 7:00 p.m. on August 13 th.
