We currently have nine booths at our Fly-In this fallso far. If anyone wants to have a booth space at the Fly-In in October, please contact me as soon as possible at 817-600-5871 orlee@bellaitaliabylee.com. Space is limited. Our August 20th meeting will be in Jim and Betty Austin s hangar at Northwest Regional Airport. And, of course, our annual Fall Festival of Flight will be Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8 at Gainesville Municipal Airport. I encourage everyone to attend and bring a friend or ten. We hope to have over 200 planes fly in. Please contact Phil about wanting to host a meeting or suggest a speaker in 2016 at 972-989-3234 orjpcookie1@verizon.net. Be safe up there. Keep em fly n. Michael Lewis Mitchell Mike Mitchell, 65, of Rhome TX passed away June 24th at his home at New Fairview Airport. Mr. Mitchell was born in Lawton, OK on December 22, 1950 to Louis and Betty Mitchell. He was currently married to Laurie Mitchell on May 23, 2006. The Texas Antique Airplane Association has lost a very good friend and a talented aircraft restorer. Mike was always ready to give advice and thoughts on any aircraft project or problem. He helped me many times with his knowledge of Fairchild s during the restoration of my F24. He will be missed but not forgotten, God speed Mike. Terry Page 3
