gastronom The Gastronom versions of Altech give an additional function to the soapstone fireplace. These heaters have a ceramic or steel plate that is heated directly by the fire. ecosy Sustainable, environmentally neutral, price-conscious but also, of course, cosy and comfortable. The Ecosy has it all! Not only by name but, indeed, also by nature. The Altech Ecosy is a totally new model of wood stove with a familiar appearance. Its combustion system is an advancement on the trusted techniques of the Altech Vision. Thus, heating takes place in a 50 cm wide combustion chamber which can easily cope with larger blocks of wood.

Choice of colours Altech is unique in the choice of colours it offers. You can choose from four different types of soapstone and three different colours for the cast iron. This means that there are more than a dozen possible colour combinations. The Uni has a varnished stone which is available in every possible cast iron colour. Technique Both the inside as well as the outside of the Althech stoves are made of soapstone. Did you know that the heat produced by a soapstone stove is comparable to that of the sun, proving the ultimate warmth experience inside the home? Thus the air temperature is cooler then that of conventional and cast iron stoves the heat generated by a soapstone stove provides an all-embracing warmth. One of the many reasons why the soapstone stoves are highly favored among those who struggle with muscle and joint pain. Say goodbye to partial heating and enjoy the pleasant allembracing warmth that an Athech stove has to offer. With the Eclips-series, Altech has introduced a wood-burning stove which, with regard to its burning technique and output, has no equal. A unique smoke guide sytem is used in the stove, where the smoke fumes of the basic model alone travel a distance of more than 2 metres. Whilst travelling this distance, the heat of the smoke fumes is transferred to the soapstone. This, and the use of a primary and secondary air control system which is controlled by a bimetallic strip, ensure a very high output of 87% (89% for half power) with a surprisingly small use of wood.
