3 of 8 CHAPTER 4: 4.1 GENERAL Crew Training Manager will be responsible to: Maintain records of all training, checking and qualification undertaken by a flight crew member; Make the records of all conversion courses and recurrent training and checking available, on request, to the flight crew member concerned. The Flight Operations Training Department will notify the Training Center and the flight crew concerned in advance of the expiry of any of these check/test/training: Proficiency check (LPC and OPC) Line check Annual Emergency and Safety Equipment check Triennial Emergency and Safety Equipment check CRM training Ground and Refresher training Type Rating Revalidation/Renewal Tests Route and Aerodrome competence AWO Category II/III TCAS and RVSM. RNAV and RNP DGR Other Required and exigible trainings The following information documentation about training of personnel shall be stored in written or electronic form, accessible to the Authority, for the periods shown in the Tables below. Once a training, a check or test has been completed, the authorized person conducting it should forward the completed forms to the Crew Training Department. The Training Department shall ensure that the forms have been completed correctly and are retained in the individual folder. All Training and Checking records are available on request to the crew member concerned. Each type of training record form is included in the Operation Manual. Once a check or test has been completed, the authorized person conducting the check or test shall forward the completed forms to the Crew Training Department that will ensure that the forms have been completed correctly and are retained on the individual flight crew members file by the Crew Roistering Department for storage. Crew Training Manager will ensure that Part one of the LPC forms are to be sent to the Personnel Licensing Department of the DRC CAA without undue delay for appropriate actions.
4 of 8 4.2 CONTROL, ANALYSIS, STATISTICS AND PERIODS The Crew Training Department within the Flight Operations Department is responsible for the control and maintenance of all records, flight documents and data for the period determined in each case by law, as part of their own competence. The analysis of such records is a central and essential part of CAA internal Quality and Safety audits. Checks will also be made to establish that all documents are being completed correctly and in a proper manner. Statistics shall be kept and updated in order to enable the Flight Operations Department to identify and to prevent the occurrence of any irregularities.
4.3.
