RESULT FROM LACNIC IV Members Meeting. New By Laws Electoral Calendar. Transition Finished Approval of the Financial and Business Managment of 2002. Open Policy Forum New policies in: Bulk whois, IPv6 Microallocations and IPv4 Microallocations for End Users Multihomed. New working groups to discuss: Revision of IPv6 policies, Templates and Process, Rwhois. The working groups in Experimental allocations and Lame Delegation will continue working. COOPERATION RIRs - Workshop with AFRINIC in Montevideo last June 2-3. Looking for new cooperation activities with Afrinic. - Staff exchanges programmed with the other RIRs in all the RIR s areas (business, policies, registration services and membership) REGIONAL NIC Brazil, NIC México, CLARA, Ecomlac. OTHERS LACNIC-IDRC-ICA : An MoU will be signed this month. Working in a joint-fund to support researches (small grants) related with Internet issues. Maybe other partners will join soon.
