Upon arrival at Luang Prabang international airport, you are warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to city central for checkin at hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Day 2 (B) Luang Prabang / Pak Ou Caves Today, after breakfast you will first visit Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. We then embark on the a leisure cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On arrival back in the city, we will visit magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then visit Wat Visoun, dating back to 1513 during the reign of King Wisunarat (Visoun), this is Luang Prabang s oldest temple and was once home to the Prabang Buddhas.
Afterwards, we will visit the Traditional Art and Ethnology Center to learn about Laos many ethnic cultures. Late afternoon, we ascend the 329 steps to the top of Phousi Hill for a panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River. The tour ends after a visit to the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely collection of handmade textiles made by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Optional : If time permits, you may wish to visit the Kopnoi Promotion Center, and enjoy the Tea tasting Ceremony, where you can also have a small lecture about Lao culture. Day 3 (B) Luang Prabang / Hanoi An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the procession. From there, we will take a short visit to the morning local market near the Royal Palace. At the market, you can find anything from rice, to fresh vegetables, to steamed fish, frogs, and anything else that might be the day s catch, just set up on the ground, this is what the locals do every day. This is really the chance for you to get a real flavor of the local culture. If you do not want early start then after breakfast at the hotel, we transfer directly to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails.
Before returning to Luang Prabang, we stop to visit the Kuang Si Falls Butterfly Park (closed on Tuesday), one of the must-visit spots, where you can have an optional 15 minute tour to learn about butterflies and local flora. Laos is also known for its traditional crafts, we will take a short visit to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, where you will have a short tour so you get information about Silk, about weaver, about the Women that work in the Centre. Later today you will be transferred to airport to take a flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai international airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. Day 4 (B) Hanoi Breakfast at the hotel. Vietnam's quaint capital is a city of wide tree lined boulevards with tranquil lakes and colonial villa's and a more sedate pace than other Asian cities. Hanoi offers something for everyone and will leave you wishing that you had longer to explore this enthralling capital. Today you will enjoy a full day city tour of Hanoi. Visit Hochiminh complex includes: Hochiminh s Mausoleum the mausoleum of the nation s founder Hochiminh(Viewed from outside; closed Mon and Fri and in Nov), the Presidential Palace and the Hochiminh s house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of Hanoi. This structure is one of Vietnam's most iconic temples. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature. In 1076, Vietnam's first university QuocTuGiam was established within
a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins and members of the elite. The university functioned for an incredible 700 years and its gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam's past. In the afternoon, you will visit the fascinating Ethnology Museum (closed Mondays), a research centre and public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam. Then join in 1 hour Fast 36 Streets Tour on cyclo to see the daily life of Ha Noi city with plenty opportunities of capturing photos. Later, take a walking tour to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son temple which is sitting in the centre on a small island. After that, transfer back to hotel. Day 5 (B, L & D) Hanoi / Halong / Cruise Breakfast at hotel, enjoy Ha Long city. Spending 3 hours on bus to see how beautiful landscape of Red River delta. Upon arrival the harbor, meet our Cruise Crew to join the fantastic journey around the New Seven Wonder on Luxury Cruise. Day 7 (B) Depart Hanoi / Arrive Ho Chi Minh After breakfast checkout from your hotel in Hanoi & you will be transferred to airport to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh. Welcome to Ho Chi Minh. Arrive in HCMC, you will be pick up and transfer to city center. Start Ho Chi Minh City tour with a visit to Remnants Museum, which exhibits included: photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war. Then, have lunch at restaurant (Lunch on your own). In the afternoon, visit to the Reunification Hall which includes: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth s level. The guide will show you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures, the Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, The City Hall and the last one is Opera House.
Later today you will be transferred to your hotel. Check in at hotel. Day 8 (B) Breakfast at hotel then proceed to Cu Chi to explore the amazing site where Viet Cong hid during the War. It is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone". Visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed before entering the tunnels. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla s food in war time). Return to Hochiminh City. Day 9 (B) Depart Ho Chi Minh / Arrive Siem Reap After breakfast checkout from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh & you will be transferred to airport to take a flight to Siem Reap. Welcome to Siem Reap. Upon you arrive at Siem Reap International airport you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, We will visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will explore the different of Khmer, Muslim and Vietnamese floating households and the floating markets, fisheries, clinics, schools, basketball course, pigsty and other
boatloads of tourists. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current. Day 10 (B) In the morning, we will visit the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk) the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century) and visit Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King and visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees. In the afternoon, WatThmei (New Wat) The wat contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. Some of the bones were recovered from a nearby well while others are the remains of soldiers who died on a nearby battlefield. 500m west of the road to Angkor about 1.5km north of town. Then continue to visit the 7th world heritage, Angkor Wat a unique and stunning blend of spirituality and symmetry, an enduring example of man's devotion to his Gods. It is the largest and undoubtedly the most breath taking of the monuments of Angkor and it is widely believed that it is the largest religious structure in the world until sunset.
Day 11 (B) Breakfast at hotel then you will have some time to visit a final site of Siem Reap tours is Les Artisans D' Angkor, home of handicraft center and the Old Market" Phsa Chas" before transfer to Siem Reap airport to board flight to Bangkok. Welcome to Bangkok. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Pattaya. Checkin at hotel in Pattaya. Evening free for leisure. Day 12 (B & L) Have breakfast at your hotel and get ready for your day trip to Coral Island. You will be picked up from your hotel lobby and depart by boat to Coral Island. Safari World is a sight seeing in Bangkok, Thailand that consists of two parks named Marine Park and Safari Park. Safari Park is about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) long.
