LUCA BRACALI About me Luca Bracali has travelled 138 countries, published 10 books and won 8 International Photo contests. Since 2008 he is a member of the APECS (Association of Polar Early Career Scientists) thanks to his media and scientific contributions related to the environment. In 2009 he was the only reporter to have reached the geographic North Pole by skiing. In 2010 he made his debut in the world of fine-art photography and his photos are shown in author exhibitions, in museums and galleries, in Roma, Sofia, Kiev, Copenhagen, Montreal and New York. Since 2011 he has been working as Director of the Italian Rai TV and signed 4 stories for National Geographic. Tiger safa PHOTO WORKSHOP ORGANISED BY LUCA BRACALI IN INDIA, TIGER SAFARI On this trip we will discover India wildest soul, the one of its majestic tigers, visiting two national parks that host the largest concentration of tigers in the world. Each photo travel organized by Luca Bracali is arranged in collaboration with the most important professional key figures in the touristic industry. This allows to develop a program that features a strong naturalistic and historic interest. Each day is studied to obtain the maximum experience taking into account the best timing to shoot, the light conditions and everything related to photography.

Day 1 Delhi - Ranthambhore National Park Arrival in Delhi that will welcome us with its incredible charm made of a unique blend of old and new, of centuries of history and modern accelerated development. In the afternoon transfer by train to the Ranthambhore National Park. The park is located in the south-eastern Rajasthan, 130 km far from Jaipur, the Pink City. Once a private hunting reserve for the maharajas of Jaipur, from 1972 Ranthambore was declared a protected area and then national park to protect the 40 Indian tigers living in the wild as well as many other animal species (blue antelopes, leopards, hyenas, deer, bears, leopards, jungle cats, a variety of birds and so on). The national park, dotted with Banyan, large Indian trees from the large shadow, is surrounded by two rivers, the Banas and Chambal and the lake Padam Talao. DAYS 2 3-4 PHOTO SAFARI Spend the next four days joining photo safaris in the morning and in the evening, venturing out in search of majestic tigers, as well as jackals, mongooses, sloth bears, leopards, and a wide variety of bird species. The park is particularly attractive also for the ancient ruins of the temples surrounded by jungle and the tenth-century Forte. Situated on a rock at the entrance of the Park, the Fort features various temples including one dedicated to Ganesh, the most beautiful of Rajasthan.
Day 5 Photo safari in the morning and then night train to Bandhavgarh National Park, in Madhya Pradesh. Once a private hunting reserve for the maharajas of Rewa, the Bandhavgarh National Park covers 450 sq km and was established as protected area in 1968. Realm of the famous white tiger of Rewa, the park hosts the highest concentration of tigers across India and other animals such as birds, foxes, deer, jackals, Indian bison, gazelles, deer, chital, leopard, dappled deer, blue antelope, wild cats, hyenas and reptiles, plus many others, inhabit its dense forests. The Bandhavgarh area is fascinating also for its great biodiversity and varied vegetation from grasslands to forests of Sal. Day 6 Arrival around lunch time, transfer to the lodge, time to relax before the evening excursion Days 7-8-9 morning and evening photo safari. We will discover the wildlife nature of di Bandhavgarh in jeep or on elephant back, especially recommended for spotting the tigers in the early morning. Besides the tiger, possibility of bird watching and visiting the old Fort and the local villages Day 10 Jabalpur Delhi Italy Transfer to Jabalpur, the second largest city in central India to take the flight that will lead us back to Delhi. Return flight to Italy
