Summer Adventure Days! July 27th - ust 21st 9-16 yr olds the tunnels Put on a wetsuit and take an exhilarating ride on the water flow down the tunnel. Now, can you make it back up against the water? raft building Work with your team to build and race your raft around the lake. Then use it to explore the area or complete the lakeside orienteering challenge! orienteering Test your map reading in this fast paced and fun challenge. Can you find the hidden markers first? Can you get back before the clock stops? There is even a picture based course to challenge your observation skills. archery Learn to safely handle a bow and amaze yourself with your skill and accuracy. Then play some individual and team games based on your shooting ability. bouldering & weaselling Test your climbing skills in a fun and safe challenge on many of the low lying rock around the local Tors. Then Weasel your way through small gaps and under boulders, searching for letter boxes or just for the fun of it! team games From the perplexing Planks Puzzle to the Acid Swamp, the Crystal Maze has nothing on us! Join in with the team and puzzle your way through a maze of mind benders. bush craft Learn the basics of being in the outdoors! Firelighting, whittling wood and campfire cooking, as well as tree identification and wildlife surveying. the bog run Our unique Bog Run on Bodmin Moor is the wettest, muddiest and the most fun activity you will ever do in a wetsuit! Finish the day with a jump into a lake to rinse off. gorge walk Forge you way against the current in the stunning Plym Valley... scrambling under and over boulders and sliding down the water shoots. climbing & abseiling Stretch yourself on some of the magnificent Granite outcrops in the area and enjoy the views of the local moor before the exhilarating abseil back to the start. high ropes Stretch yourself on our Courses. Whether you are working as a team to reach the top of the Jacobs Ladder or balancing across the Burma Bridge you will have a great time.
5 day Paddlesports Course 160 Gift vouchers available > A fun and exciting week introducing young people to Canoeing and whilst improving and developing the skills of those who already paddle. > The course will involve paddling on rivers, lakes and even journeying on the sea, giving each paddler lots of opportunities to work on their skills whilst having fun. Each paddler will receive a Paddlepower record card to track their progress and help them move onto the next stage in the scheme. 17-21st ust > The course focuses on the British Canoe Union Paddlepower Award Scheme. This is an exciting scheme designed to encourage young people into the sport, providing progression and rewarding achievement in a wide range of topics. Overnight Camps! 2 Day camp!! > 6th-7th ust Shelter building, fire lighting, knife skills, whittling. Plant and tree identification, foraging and campfire cooking!! Spend a night out in your own shelter, living in the woods and cooking on your own fire! 85 2 Day expedition > 13th-14th ust Spend two days exploring Dartmoor and its rocky Tors.
