Scenario 2: terminate route at Shaw s on Warwick Neck Avenue, and rebrand with Route 42 and Route 77 Central Avenue as a unified Route 1, offering through-service (on every other trip) to the MBTA South Attleboro rail station. 3 Warwick Scenario 1: route would remain as it is today. Scenario 2: route would operate both a Warwick Avenue and Broad Street branch (replacing Route 1 service on Broad). Both Scenarios: service would operate through the Jewelry District (via Point, Richmond and Chestnut) every 30 minutes during peak periods and every 60 off-peak. 8 Jefferson Boulevard Both Scenarios: Route 8 would be discontinued due to low ridership. Connections to the Interlink rail station and surrounding development area could be made via RIPTA routes 1, 14,20, 29 and/or the Interlink walkway. 9 Pascoag Both Scenarios: the route would become a Commuter Route, providing faster peak period service to Providence on three AM inbound and three PM outbound trips daily. Both Scenarios: service would operate every 30 minutes and would be coordinated with Route 19 Plainfield, meaning service would operate on Westminster Street at 15 minute frequency most of the day. 18 Union Avenue Scenario 1: the southern terminus of this route would be shortened by about 1/2 mile, ending at Puritan Avenue rather than the Industrial Park off Dyer Ave. Scenario 2: route would extend east on Park Avenue to Elmwood, providing crosstown service in Cranston, and connecting with Route 20. 19 Plainfield Street / Westminster Street Both Scenarios: service would terminate at the Cranston Walmart. Trip variants to the Cranston Industrial Park and along Atwood Avenue would be discontinued. The route would run short and long trips, operating to the Providence City Line at Plainfield Street every 30 minutes, and operating to Walmart every 60 minutes. 20 Elmwood Avenue / Airport Both Scenarios: the route would alternate short and long trips, operating to the Price Rite on Post Road every 15 minutes, and operating to the Airport every 30 minutes. Every other trip would turn at Shaw's in North Providence; all other trips would serve Bryant (every 40 minutes). Eliminate variants to Fidelity Investments. Scenario 2: same alignment as today, but at 20 minute frequency. Both Scenarios: no longer operate as throughroute with Route 28. 51 Charles Street Scenario 1: no change in alignment. Service would operate from Middletown Park-Ride Lot to Kennedy Plaza via Gateway Center, Boston Neck Road park-ride, Wickford Junction, and Route 117 park-ride. Three inbound AM and three outbound PM trips would be provided. Note: there is no Route 68X in Scenario 2. Express trips between Newport and Providence would be provided via the East Bay on Route 60X. 71 Broad St Both Scenarios: route would be extended south of downtown Pawtucket via Pawtucket Avenue to Job Lot, and schedules would be made more consistent throughout the day. The Lincoln Manor deviation would be discontinued due to low ridership. 72 Weeden Street / Central Falls Both Scenarios: route would be consolidated with Route 53 Smithfield to provide coordinated service along Smithfield Avenue. Route would follow Smithfield Avenue to Weeden Street (Route 53 alignment), then Weeden, Lonsdale and Dexter into Pawtucket (Route 72 alignment). Service to Saylesville Industrial Park, Wilfred Manor and Coates Manor would be discontinued. 6

73 Providence / FairIawn Scenario 1: alignment would be modified to provide service between Providence and CCRI Lincoln, rather than Pawtucket and CCRI. Scenario 2: route would be consolidated with Route 51, providing service between Providence and Pawtucket. 75 Dexter Street / Lincoln Mall Both Scenarios: route would operate along same alignment, but variants into FGX International and North Central Industrial Park would be discontinued due to low ridership and to provide faster service. 76 Central Avenue Both Scenarios: service would be consolidated with Route 80 Armistice Boulevard to form an East Pawtucket circulator. It would operate from the Pawtucket Transit Center via Walcott and Armistice Boulevard, and then form a loop: George Bennett Highway to Central Avenue, to Daggett Avenue, and Armistice Boulevard. Service would operate every 60 minutes. 77 Benefit Street / Broadway Both Scenarios: route would be extended to the South Attleboro MBTA train station. The inbound Pawtucket approach would be modified to use Central, Fountain, Exchange and Roosevelt, and outbound trips would use Exchange and Broadway. Service would be operated on a consistent 30 minute frequency throughout the day, and 60 minutes at night. Scenario 1: route would operate independently. Scenario 2: route would be through-routed with Routes 1 and 42, providing through-service to Cranston. 78 Beverage Hill Avenue / Newport Avenue Scenario 1: no alignment change. Route would operate at consistent 60 minute frequency throughout the day. Scenario 2: route would follow its existing alignment in and out of Pawtucket, but use Wilson Ave. and Broadway in East Providence, essentially following the former Route 35 alignment over the Henderson Bridge into Kennedy Plaza. The route would operate on consistent 60 minute headways. 79 Columbus Avenue Scenario 1: no alignment change. Scenario 2: route would be consolidated with, and rebranded as, Route 35. It would follow the existing Route 79 alignment out of Pawtucket to Newport Avenue, then follow Newport Avenue and Pawtucket Avenue to terminate at Wampanoag Plaza in East Providence. 80 Armistice Boulevard Both Scenarios: service would be consolidated with Route 76 Central to form a new Route 80 East Pawtucket circulator. It would operate from the Pawtucket Transit Center via Walcott and Armistice Boulevard, and then form a loop: George Bennett Highway to Central Avenue, to Daggett Avenue, and Armistice Boulevard. Service would operate every 60 minutes. 87 Fairmount / Walnut Hill Both Scenarios: alignment along western part of route would be straightened to operate via Mason, Second and Fairmount in both directions. 88 Woonsocket Depot to Highland Corporate Drive Scenario 1: this new route would operate from Woonsocket Depot to Hamlet Avenue, Cumberland Hill Road, Park East Drive and Highland Corporate Drive to CVS headquarters. It would operate every 30 minutes during the day, and be scheduled to facilitate transfers with Routes 54 and 87. Note: this new route is proposed only in Scenario 1. 92 Federal Hill East Side Both Scenarios: Service would operate every 20 minutes throughout the day until 11 PM, and all trips would serve East Side Marketplace. Variants to Governor s Apartments on Ives and the Federal Hill House would be discontinued due to low ridership. Scenario 1: route would be consolidated with Route 26, and extended via Atwells and Mount Pleasant to terminate at RI College. Scenario 2: alignment would be the same as today, but with no route variants as noted above. 90A Arctic Park-Ride Both Scenarios: this route would be consolidated with express trips on Route 13 Arctic Center/Washington Street and rebranded as Route 13X Arctic Express. All trips would begin in Arctic Center. 90C Cumberland Park-Ride Both Scenarios: this route would be consolidated with Route 54 Woonsocket Express. The Cumberland Park-Ride Lot would no longer be served, with customers directed to use the Lincoln Mall park-ride lot. 90S Scituate Park-Ride Scenario1: this route would be discontinued due to low ridership averaging less than 12 passengers daily. Scenario 2: the route would continue to operate one inbound and one outbound trip per day. It would be rebranded as Route 10X Scituate Express. 90W Westerly Park-RIde / 95X Westerly Express Both Scenarios: Route 90W would be rebranded as Route 95X Westerly Express. It would make the same stops as today, but would have an additional trip in both AM and PM better serving commuters. 8
