DAY 1: USA / MÁLAGA (Friday) Fly overnight to Málaga. DAY 2: MÁLAGA / SEVILLA (Saturday) Bienvenidos a España! Your Forum Tour Manager will greet you at the airport and will remain with your group for the length of your stay. Transfer by private motor coach to Seville: capital of Andalucía and 4th largest city in Spain. Some cities have looks, other cities have personality. The Sevillanos lucky devils get both; courtesy of their flamboyant, charismatic, everevolving Andalucian metropolis founded, according to myth, 3000 years ago by the Greek god Hercules. Check in at your hotel to drop off your luggage and freshen up. Discover the Santa Cruz Quarter. See the 12th century buildings, Royal Citadels, and symbolic buildings, like the General Archive of the Indies, the Hospital of the Venerable and the City Hall. Accompanied by the typical color of the wall plinths and the smell of orange blossom makes this walk one not to be missed for visitors to Seville. Continue your visit with the Plaza de España. It was built because of the Ibero-american Exhibition of 1929, held in Seville. Finally, stroll in the dreamy Parque de María Luisa. Enjoy a tapas dinner. Night accommodation in Seville. DAY 3: SEVILLA (Sunday) Breakfast at your hotel. Meet your local guide for a guided visit of Seville s immense cathedral and its Giralda Tower. It stands on the site of the great 12th-century Almohad mosque, with the mosque s minaret (the Giralda) still towering beside it. Then, enter the Alcázar. If heaven really does exist, then let s hope it looks a little bit like the inside of Seville s Alcázar. The Alcázar marked one of history s architectural high points. Unesco agreed, making it a World Heritage site in 1987. Free time for lunch. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the Museo del Baile Flamenco followed by a flamenco class (45min.). Finally, see the professionals in action with an authentic flamenco show. Enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. Night accommodation in Seville.
