Entry Fees and aero-tows price FCC Gliding 2019 entry fee for each competitor is 200 and it covers all operational costs during the contest except aero-tows and ICAO charts of the competition airspace. (NOTE: aero-tows and charts are not included in the entry fee and will be available for sale in the competition office upon your arrival). The entry fee is payable by bank transfer no later than 28 th February 2019. Maturity means the date of crediting the bank account of the organizer. Conditions for refund of entry fee charge: 1. When notice of participation cancellation to the end of February 2019 - refund 100% 2. When notice of participation cancellation to the end of March 2019 - refund 50% 3. When later notice of participation cancellation or absence without notice - no refund The entry fee will be refunded in full to all applicants who will be accepted as alternate competitors if they will not be included in the start list. Each registered FCC competition member with payed registration fee will get a package from the organizer, as during the past years. Number of Entries The number of entries during FCC Gliding 2019 in each class is limited: Club class 15m class Combi class - max. 55 competitors - max. 30 competitors - max. 35 competitors Number of competing glider planes in all classes is limited to a maximum of 120 substitutes. If the number of registered competitors exceeds limited number in all competition classes, the director of competition - Ing. Jozef Horňák, will take his right of organizer for selection and compilation of the start list. His decision will be influenced by these factors: entry fee paid, the number of previous participations in FCC Gliding, membership in the national team, the number of hours flown, or even participation of representatives of "new countries". Competing Pilots Pilot competing in FCC Gliding 2019 must be a citizen or resident of one of the NACs countries and must satisfy the conditions of the FAI Sporting Code, General Section 3.7 on citizenship and representation and shall fulfil these requirements: Hold a gold badge, or, hold a silver badge and have competed in at least one National Championship; Have flown at least 250 hours as a pilot in command, of which at least 100 hours must be in gliders; Hold an FAI Sporting Licence with a current FAI stamp; Hold a Pilot Licence or equivalent document issued or validated by the authorities of the country in which the sailplane is registered, or of the country where the FCC Gliding takes place Slovak Transport Authotity. From 08.04.2018 regulation of the European Commission no. 1178/2011 Acknowledge and understand the FAI Sporting Codes and the Rules and Procedures issued for the event.

Competition Classes FCC Gliding 2019 will be held in the following classes as described in the main body of Section 3 of the FAI Sporting Code, Chapter 5: Club Class 15 m class Combi class If any class does not have at least 5 participants on the first competition day, the pilots will be moved and scored together with other suitable class. Contest Number The rules concerning the visibility of contest numbers will be strictly observed. If two contest numbers are identical or easily confused (e.g. "India, India" and "one, one") the competitors will be asked to change it based on their agreement. Weight Limits Club Class Maximum take-off mass must not exceed the maximum certified mass of the sailplane without water ballast and is limited by the lower value of: 1. maximum allowable weight of parts not generating lift plus weight of parts that generate lift (without any kind of a burden in the wings), or 2. maximum allowed take-off weight without water under the technical documentation (TCDS) Standard Class Maximum take-off mass of the sailplane will not exceed 525 kg or the maximum certified take-off mass. 15m Class -Maximum take-off mass of the sailplane will not exceed 570 kg or the maximum certified take- off mass. 18 m Class Maximum take-off mass of the sailplane will not exceed 750 kg or the maximum certified take-off mass. Open Class Maximum take-off mass of the sailplane will not exceed 850 kg or the maximum certified take-off mass. Competition Area and Contest preocedures The competition area is still under negotiation and we will let you know more information in the near future, the latest at the opening briefing. Our aim is to obtain the area with access to Hungarian, Czech and Polish airspace. The maximum altitude will be generally 8000 ft and 9000 ft over the mountains. Only in few areas, especially under some TMAs, there will be lower altitude limit. Max altitude in feet and meters will be given for all airspaces corrected according to QNH of the day and will be mentioned on the task sheet together with the other daily task data.

Local Procedures As soon as the Local Procedures are finalized we will make them available on the official competition website. Turning Points Official turn point list in all main formats will be available on our website just after the Local Procedures will be published. Training Coordinate Your arrival with the organizer! Accommodation Camping site will be available at the airport. It is a nice and equipped place for your tent, caravan or motor home. The toilets and showers are available at the site in the main building and also in the camping area. Accomodation price in the camp: tent or caravan - 9 EURO per day. People in the tent or caravan are not counted, there is only one price for the whole unit. Rooms at the airport: 9 EURO / per person / per night (up to 3 people can stay in the room) New modern wooden cottages: 60 EURO / per cottage / per day (5 people fit in the cottage) Other accommodation possibilities near the airport are: www.hotelsite.sk Food at the airport site Provided in Aerorest restaurant at the airfield. Competition Awards In case of a valid competition, there are following financial awards in each class: 1 st place - material gift valued at 1000 2 nd place - material gift valued at 750 3 rd place - material gift valued at 500 4 th place - material gift 15 th place - Free registration for FCC 2020

Insurance Competitors and all crew members attention is drawn to the FAI Sporting Code Annex A to Section 3, part 3.6, paragraphs 3.6.1 to 3.6.2 inclusive. Scoring Software The official scoring software is Naviter See You Competition (www.naviter.si). Wireless internet connection is available at the airfield. Flight dokumentation For the successful registration you have to fill out all the information in the registration form. Flight can be recorded by GNSS only. All flight recorders, which have received IGC approval for championships, will be admitted. This applies to both, primary and spare flight recorders. Please note that valid GNSS FR calibration certificate not older than 24 months for primary and secondary GNSS FRs may be required.
