Tour Itinerary Friday, 13 JUL Sydney Passengers Arrive Upon arrival to Norfolk Island Sydney passengers we will be met and escorted to your accommodation at Paradise Hotel & Resort. Settle in during the afternoon before dinner at your hotel. Saturday, 14 JUL Sydney Passengers This morning Sydney passengers will enjoy breakfast and the day at leisure. Entry is included today for your visit to the Cyclorama located next door to your hotel. Walk inside one continuous 360 degree panoramic painting and experience the history of the Bounty adventures. This evening Sydney passengers will meet their fellow travellers from Brisbane and the Seniors Holiday Travel Team Host at a Welcome Dinner ahead of the Wonderland by Night tour. Brisbane Passengers Arrive Upon arrival to Norfolk Island Brisbane passengers we will be met and escorted to your accommodation at Paradise Hotel & Resort. The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines & bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Sunday, 15 JUL Enjoy breakfast with the morning at leisure. You may like to visit the local markets at the Bicentenary complex, offering local souvenirs, arts and craft. This afternoon you will enjoy a half day Island tour visiting historic Kingston, Cascade, Longridge and more. Learn about the famous convict buildings, beautiful beaches, and the renowned Melanesian Chapel. Relax and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea in the garden of a historic Island home built by Fletcher Quintal. Tonight you will be transferred to the Fletchers Fate Mystery Dinner. A fascination evening of interactive theatre, intrigue and mystery. This entertaining play, examining the possible last movements and final whereabouts of the famous mutineer, Fletcher Christian, is dramatically acted out by a 6 character cast over a delicious 3 course dinner. Monday, 16 JUL Today you will be split into 2 small groups for this morning s tours. Group 1 will join Culla & his Clydesdales (Ricky, Sailor, Zac and Sam). The tour will take us where cars can't go and see Norfolk's countryside at a leisurely pace. From the time we leave the Coach House in Rooty Hill Road until we return, we will be treated to tales of Island life in true Culla style. Along the way you will visit Mt Pitt, a good spot to stop and enjoy the beautiful views. Group 2 will enjoy their morning at leisure. Enjoy this evenings dinner and a concert. Tuesday, 17 JUL This morning after breakfast you will enjoy the Xtian Brothers Cheese Tour. Xtian Brothers Cheese Company is a boutique dairy and cheese producer started by Island brothers Glen and John Christian, producing a range of handmade mouth- watering cheeses, from a small herd of organic cows. Visit a local farm & sawmill, see the cows, beehives & learn about local honey production. Then travel to Glen s home & sample the range of cheeses with tasty condiments & wine on the veranda. This afternoon embark on a Convict Settlement Tour. Take an in depth tour of the historic Georgian settlement of Kingston. Walk through the cemetery and hear the history of interesting convict and colonial headstones. Gain some insight into the history of the houses along Quality Row. Walk through the ruins of the New Gaol and see the Pier Store, Boat Shed & Crank Mill. Tonight we start off with some pre-dinner music by a local performer who is joined by the Norfolk Island Tahitian Dancers. This evening enjoy a wonderful banquet dinner served to your table with some of Norfolk Island s most popular dishes. Seniors Holiday Travel Team Terms of Trade and Schedule of Fees PRICES Schedules and availability, fare conditions and prices can change at any time. Price changes may occur for reason or matters outside our control which increase the cost of the products or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. DEPOSITS Seniors Holiday Travel Team requires a booking deposit which is charged per person and deducted from your final balance. The deposit is nonrefundable if you should cancel. i. 1st deposit for this tour is $600.00 per person and is due within 7 days of booking. ii. Final payment is due 100 days prior to departure. PAYMENTS All prices are based on payment by cash, direct deposit or cheque. A credit card surcharge of 2% for Visa and Mastercard and 3% for American Express Card applies if you elect to use them for payment. If you opt to make a direct deposit into our nominated bank account it may take at least 24 hours to be processed into our account. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & AMENDMENTS Any cancellations of the Tour will result in the following cancellation fees: - 100 days or more prior to departure, loss of deposit plus the cost of the airline ticket if issued. - Less than 100 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour package price. Cancellation must be made in writing for your reservation to be cancelled. HEALTH & FITNESS/ACTIVITY LEVEL You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel and that you are able to participate in the activities included in your itinerary. If you are unsure about your fitness to travel, please check with your GP or specialist clinic. Payment of deposit to Seniors Holiday Travel Team acts as a warranty that the traveller is reasonably healthy and/or fit to participate in the tour. Seniors Holiday Travel Team reserves the right to remove a traveller from a tour at the traveller's own expense, if their health/ fitness interferes with the tour or other travellers tour experience in any way. We do not, nor are we required to, provide carers or assistants for those with reduced mobility or other health needs. In particular, tour guides, coach drivers, and your fellow passengers will not act as assistants or carers in these circumstances. TRAVEL INSURANCE Travel Insurance is highly recommended for all travellers. Seniors Holiday Travel Team can assist with your travel insurance needs. Please ensure you take note of the special inclusions and exclusions as they may relate to your particular circumstances. Pre-existing Medical conditions and cover for these are approved or rejected by the Insurer. If you have taken out another Travel Insurance Policy or believe you have adequate cover from a credit card policy we will require a photocopy and details of the insurance cover that you hold. Please note that if you have insurance from another source and subsequently require our assistance in processing an insurance claim, this will incur a fee of at least $220. TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other documentation used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including being non-refundable, non-changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. These documents cannot be transferred to another person to use. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo id holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and it may be cancelled. Any errors in names, dates and timings on your documentation will be your responsibility if not advised at time of booking. As a general rule, your travel documents are issued by the service providers two weeks prior to departure. For any amendments after final payment a fee of $55 per document plus supplier fees will be charged. THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS Our tour itinerary is a guide only and although we will make every reasonable effort to adhere to the programme, we reserve the right to make any alterations as necessary. Alterations may come about due to weather conditions, strikes, public holidays, local festivals, renovations and/or upgrades or other reasons. Any additional expense incurred by the passenger is not our responsibility. Your travel arrangements are subject to the booking conditions of each travel provider you are using. Seniors Holiday Travel Team is responsible for advising upon travel arrangements and making the bookings.
