DAY 1: WELCOME TO NAMIBIA. Drive on gravel tracks and off-road sections - Arrive at Windhoek International Airport and BMW team welcome. - Transfer to Okapuka Ranch - 10 a.m. presentation of the programme, route description and general information, champagne reception, followed by check-in - Briefing on off-road behaviour and automotive engineering of the BMW X3 - Explore local area by car - Dinner - Overnight stay at the Okapuka Ranch DAY 2: EXPLORE THE RANCH LAND. Drive on gravel tracks and off-road sections - Breakfast - Safari (rhinoceroses, crocodiles, giraffes, and numerous antelope and bird species) - Drive to Otjihavera mountains and through canyons at the Okapuka Ranch - Picnic lunch in the bush - Drive through grass and shrub savannah - Dinner - Overnight stay at the Okapuka Ranch
DAY 3: EXPERIENCE WILD ANIMALS UP CLOSE. Drive on asphalt, sand and gravel tracks - Route briefing and agenda - Drive to the private Erindireserve via Okahandja (visit Namibia s most famous wood carving market) - Lunch - Safari (elephant herds, zebras, lions and many more) - Dinner on one of the most beautiful terraces in Namibia - Overnight stay in the Old Traders Lodge within the Erindi-reserve DAY 4: MASTER THE IMPRESSIVE ERONGO MOUNTAINS. Drive on sand and gravel tracks as well as on off-road sections - Route briefing and agenda - Riverbed drive - Lunch - Explore cave paintings, the caves as well as the fascinating rock formations of the volcano remains in the Erongo mountains - Barbecue - Overnight stay in the Ai-Aiba Lodge
DAY 5: VISIT NAMIBIA`S INDIGENOUS TRIBES AT THE LIVING MUSEUM. Drive on sand, stone and gravel tracks as well as on off-road sections. - Route briefing and agenda - Drive from Ai-Aiba over gravel tracks, past an old abandoned copper mine, through the Khan and Swakop riverbeds towards Swakopmund - Visit to indigenous people Living Museum - Picnic lunch - Dinner - Overnight stay in the exclusive Strandhotel Swakopmund DAY 6: DISCOVER THE NAMIB DESERT ON THE ATLANTIC COAST. Drive on asphalt, sand, and dune tracks - Breakfast - Route briefing and agenda - Boat trip and observe the local wildlife (e.g. seals, pelicans, flamingos, possibly whales ) dependingon the weather - Lunch on the beach - Drive towards Sandwich Harbour, a section of a lagoon near Walvis Bay, accessible depending on the tide; the return journey takes you through imposing dunes at the edge of the Namib desert (one of the few coastal deserts in the world) and the dry delta of the Kuiseb river - Dinner at a seafood restaurant on the pier - Overnight stay in the exclusive Strandhotel Swakopmund
DAY 7: RETURN TO ANIMAL PARADISE. Drive on asphalt, sand and gravel tracks. - Drive from the coast back to the Okapuka Ranch - Lunch - Farewell dinner - Overnight stay at the Okapuka Ranch TOTSIENS. DAY 8: A NAMIBIAN GOODBYE. - Transfer to Windhoek International Airport - Departure
