Destination Montana SIGN UP NOW! Summer camp is much more than tying knots and earning merit badges. Montana Council camping programs help young people become better leaders and more well-rounded individuals. Our camps offer many opportunities to try new things, make new friends and develop new talents, all in a supervised environment. Whether you re a first year Scout who has never been camping before or a seasoned outdoorsman who wants to take adventure to the next level, our camps have something for you! The Boy Scouts of America, Montana Council is proud to offer four camp properties and one high- adventure base in the State. Our traditional summer camps are two of the Best Camps in the West, K-M Scout Ranch, nestled in the Moccasin Mountains in Central Montana, located about 25 minutes from Lewistown, MT and Melita Island, a 64 Acre Aquatics Paradise located 20 minutes from Polson, MT on Flathead Lake. Both camps are easily accessible for both in and out of state troops and crews. In addition, we offer two additional camp opportunities, Camp Arcola, near Anaconda, MT for those who have mastered the basics and are looking for a more rugged, on your own adventure, and Grizzly Base near Bigfork, MT which serves as our training base and offers a week and a half of summer camp adventure for Webelos Scouts. The Montana Outdoor High Adventure Base (MOHAB) offers a second to none atmosphere and setting linked to the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. Live outdoors for a week in the Mountains of Montana and experience all that we have to offer! For more information, promotional videos, or to book your summer adventure, please visit www.montanabsa.org/camping or call 406.761.6000. Apoxky Aio Lodge www.apoxkyaio.com

The program will help first and second year Webelos earn parts of many of the Webelos activity badges. GEARED TOWARDS: Webelos, Boy Scouts, Venturers, Adult Leaders LOCATION: Near Bigfork, MT NEAREST AIRPORT: Kalispell, MT CAMP ARCOLA IN THE PINTLERS Camp Arcola, located in the Pintler Range not far from Anaconda, Montana is a place for those who have mastered the basics, or want to get off the grid This rugged mountain setting provides the backdrop to endless Scout adventure opportunities. Get away from it all on this incredible piece of earth. Troops wanting to do their own thing, will find opportunities at camp Arcola. Possible activities include fishing (Big Hole River), backpacking, cross-country skiing, snow sports, wilderness survival, primitive camping, GEARED TOWARDS: Boy Scouts, Venturers, Individual Unit Camping, High Adventure. LOCATION: Near Anaconda, MT NEAREST AIRPORT: Butte, MT Arcola is a wonderful, rugged place. k-m scout ranch in central montana resident summer camp K-M s resident summer camp is situated in the North Moccasin Mountains in central Montana, with breathtaking views of Fergus County and the surrounding wildlife. In addition to the extreme landscape, K-M offers unique programming opportunities. Troops and Crews have the ability to participate in a wide variety of activities built into your weekly schedule. want to put minimal planning into your summer camp? For those troops and crews who want to kick back and relax, choose the all-inclusive schedule in which meals, merit badges and evening programs are planned and run by staff. The traditional summer camp schedule gives scouts the opportunity to move forward in rank with our Trail to Eagle program and earn merit badges like Climbing, First aid, Archery, Environmental Science and Wilderness Survival. Scouts can cool off and go for a swim in our spring fed lake or take out canoes and rowboats. Older scouts can experience our high ropes course with Project COPE. Or try out our new ATV adventure program. And all will enjoy an opportunity for a Haunted Overnight at our very own Ghost Town. Come hear the history and stories that only the hills can tell around Kendall our turn of the century mining town. k-m high adventure missouri river treks this is not your mother s summer camp For troops and crews looking for a more adventurous summer camp experience, look no further than K-M High Adventure, an intense canoe trip along the Missouri River, or an extreme backpacking experience based out of K-M. This high adventure program is geared towards older Scouts who are looking for a true adventure. Participants will hike 15-30 miles over the course of the week in the North Moccasin Mountains. Each trek is accompanied by a trained guide, who will educate Scouts about Backpacking and Mountaineering skills and practices. The Missouri river trek offers older Scouts the opportunity to explore the return route of Lewis and Clark and offers incredible side-hikes, fishing and historical wonder of the white cliffs section of this wild and scenic river. Throughout the week, Scouts learn how to work as a team, develop leadership skills, increase their self-confidence and advance their outdoor skills, all while enjoying some of the most magnificent scenery on the planet. GEARED TOWARDS: Older Scouts and Venturers looking for high adventure. LOCATION: Near Lewistown, MT NEAREST AIRPORT: Great Falls, MT You run a great camp!
