Geographical Context Galera is located in Altiplano de Granada, to the north of the region. 1.200 habitants. Galera is ubicated far away from large population centers, equidistant between the cities of Murcia and Granada (150 Kms). 3

The heritage wealth of Galera 1. THE MUSEUM OF GALERA 2001: Opened to the public. Galera s heritage is assembled around this museum. There we ll find archaeologic and ethnographic sections. It preserves and exhibits the mummified remains of the grave 121 of the site of Castellón, 4,000 years old. 6
The heritage wealth of Galera 2. TÚTUGI NECROPOLIS First dig was made in 1918. Construction began in the 5th century BC. It contains more than 130 family graves. In the grave 20 appeared the Goddess of Galera. It opens to the public in 2007. 7
