It is well known that the Great Plains Conservation s camps in Botswana are located in some of the best wildlife viewing destinations available to guests. The African plains and savannahs roll out like a new adventure story every day. The animals all players on a stage. The sheer scale, size and views of Africa very often only become apparent once you actually arrive. It is also only then that you realise that the camera equipment that you brought with may simply not allow you to realise that image you wish you were able to capture! The cost and logistics of bringing the larger lenses and camera bodies with you all the way with you on international flights and small air transfers are also not conducive to the effort very often either THOSE DAYS ARE OVER. We are proud to offer all our guests the opportunity now of pre-reserving a wide range of camera bodies, lenses and equipment that you can take with you when you come on safari with us to Botswana. We will ensure the equipment you want is delivered to you at Johannesburg International Airport before you depart for Botswana and when you return, collect the equipment from you. All you take with you are great memories and your images on your memory cards supplied. You can choose between Canon or Nikon camera specialist equipment. A suggested kit would be: Canon EOD 7D paired with a 100-400L IS OR Nikon D300s paired with a 8-400 F4.5-5.6 VRII You can also customise the equipment you would prefer to take with you from camera bodies, to lenses, to supporting equipment even GoPro s are available to hire!
