Inner Approach Zone: Ten thousand feet (10,000') in length and beginning one thousand feet (1,000') in width at the end of the overrun area and widening uniformly to a width of four thousand feet (4,000') at a distance of ten thousand feet (10,000'), and having as its center line the continuation of the center line of the landing strip. 2. Outer Approach Zone: Forty thousand feet (40,000') in length beyond the Inner Approach Zone and being four thousand feet (4,000') in width and widening uniformly to a width of sixteen thousand feet (16,000') at a distance of forty thousand feet (40,000'), and having as its center line the continuation of the center line of the landing strip. D. Clear Zone: The first two thousand five hundred feet (2,500') in length of the Inner Approach Zone of the Instrument Runway Approach Zone, and the first two thousand feet (2,000') in length of the Approach Zone for the non-instrument runways.
