Auckland 2012 1 ABOUT WCTE 2012 The WCTE, the prestigious international meeting for timber engineering, is organised every two years by countries with a rich history in timber structures and an advanced industrial and academic background in the wood sector. After 11 successful conferences the 12 th edition of the WCTE in 2012 will take place in Auckland, New Zealand. Over the years, the number of conference attendees has continued to increase, with over 550 participants, together with various commercial exhibitors, expected to attend the New Zealand meeting.
