Package Parties Our package birthday parties combine two or more activities that are linked by a theme which help you make the most of your child s special day. PURE ADVENTURE (Aged 7 and Yr 3+) Choose from Caving (1hr) Bouldering, (1hr) Woodland Ropes (1.5hrs) and Climbing (1.5hrs) For those who like to test their bravery! Explore our artificial cave complex and then test your mettle against our climbing wall or get ready to jump on our Woodland ropes course and scramble on our boulders! Please let us know your preference when you contact us. NATURAL CRAFTS Clay modelling, hazel frames and corn dollies (1.5hrs) For those who like to create. Why not have a go at three classic crafts working only with natural materials, literally from the ground upwards! Shape and mould natural unprocessed clay, create a beautiful design to frame inside a hazel window and learn the art of weaving corn straw. QUEST (Aged 7 and Yr 3+) Woodland Ropes (1.5hrs) and Challenge course (1hr) For those who love a mission. Whether that s escaping the enemy base, fleeing from a volcano or trying to retrieve stolen treasure- we ll help make your Birthday a true quest! SURVIVAL (Yr 3+) Shelter Building, Fire lighting & Woods compass (2.5hrs) For those who want to be prepared. Learn lifelong skills that could protect you in a survival situation! Learn how to build strong shelters with limited materials, how to light a fire and how to navigate with a compass. FOREST (Aged 7 and Yr 3+) Earthwalk (1hr) and Woodland Ropes (1.5hrs) For those who enjoy the woods! Explore and discover the woodland at Sayers Croft. Meet a tree and learn its song. See how the woods look from a mouse s point of view. Experience the trees as a squirrel would. EMBRACING DARKNESS Roundhouse (30mins), Caving (1hr), Blindfold Trail (30 mins). For those who aren t afraid of the dark! Start with a story of ancient times in the darkness of our replica Iron Age roundhouse. Then explore the depths of our artificial cave complex, lead a blindfolded friend through the meandering blindfold trail. WET AND WILD! Rafting (1hr) and Ballista (1hr) For those who aren t afraid to get drenched! Build a raft from wood and barrels to try to get to the island without falling in; then see if your team can build a powerful siege catapult to soak the other team. This package is only available from May to September. WILDLIFE TRACKERS Pond-dipping, minibeast hunt, and bird watching (1.5hrs) For those who love all sorts of animals. See what beasts you can find lurking in the Sayers Croft pond and explore the tiny world of mini-beasts and insects. Once you ve mastered the micro-habitats, go in search of bigger creatures in the bird hide and in the woodland. Souvenirs Our tuck shop has a range of Sayers Croft branded goodies including pencils, cuddly toys and t-shirts. We can provide these for you on request.

Prices Duration Price 1 hour 95 1.5 hour 125 2 hour 145 2.5 hour 165 3 hour 185 Want to invite the whole class? Most of our activities have a maximum number of participants. If you would like to exceed this, you can book an additional instructor so you can have two sessions running at once! The Burrow Our community hall, The Burrow, will be available to you for your party. It consists of a large room, accessible toilet, kitchenette and a fenced garden area with several picnic benches. You may arrive 15 minutes before the start of your activities to set things up and decorate the Burrow if you wish (white tac only please). After your activities have finished, you have 1 hour of free time in the Burrow for food, cake, games, tidying up etc. The Burrow can be equipped with tables and chairs for 40 people, a sink, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave and CD player. Please note, we do not provide food but do have plates, cups and cutlery. What to Expect on the Day Your party can take place during a morning, afternoon or evening session. Your activities and free time in the Burrow can take place at any point within the given time slots. Mornings Afternoons Evenings 9.00am - 13.15pm 14.00pm - 18.15pm 19.00pm - 21.45pm Your party will be run by a trained member of Sayers croft staff who will accompany you for your session, and be available while you have your free time. We will need at least one adult to stay with the group for the duration of the party. Your party will run in all weathers apart from high winds or lightning, therefore please come prepared on the day. We can arrange wet weather activities in advance if you wish. Once we have confirmed your booking, we will send you a confirmation form and further information including arrival, what to wear, consent forms and invoice - payment of which must be made in advance via bank transfer, cheque or PayPal. No deposit needed.
