The 10th International Conference on Hypernuclear and Strange Particle Physics (Hyp-X) September 14(Mon) - 18(Fri), 2009 Tokai, Ibaraki, Japan http://www-conf.kek.jp/hyp2009/ ------------------------ Second Circular ----------------------- http://www-conf.kek.jp/hyp2009/secondcircular.html This is the second announcement of the next International Conference on Hypernuclear and Strange Particle Physics (Hyp-X) to be held in Tokai (J-PARC), Japan on September 14-18, 2009. This conference is the 10th conference in a series that was started in Heidelberg (1982), and was followed by meetings in Upton (1985), Padova (1988), Shimoda (1991), Vancouver (1994), Upton (1997), Torino (2000), Newport News (2003), and Mainz (2006). In the year 2009, new experiments on Strangeness Nuclear Physics will begin at J-PARC. We welcome you to come to J-PARC in an exciting moment. The subjects to be discussed in the conference are, 1) Spectroscopy of Hypernuclei, 2) Weak Decay of Hypernuclei, 3) S=-2 Systems, 4) Strange Mesons in Nuclei, 5) Baryon-Baryon Interaction, 6) Elementary Strangeness Production and Exotic Hadrons, 7) Strangeness in Hadron Structure, 8) Strangeness in Heavy-Ion Reaction and in Hadronic Matter. The next circular will be distributed in July, 2009. The latest information on the conference is available at the Hyp-X web page http://www-conf.kek.jp/hyp2009/.

======== IMPORTANT DATES Contribution Abstracts Deadline: Registration and Hotel Accommodations: May 10 (Sun) Open from May 1 (Fri) through the Hyp-X web page ============================================================ * Workshop site All sessions, including plenary and parallel sessions, are to be held at "Techno Community Square RICOTTI" near Tokai Station in Tokai village, where J-PARC is being constructed. The information on access to Tokai village and RICOTTI is available at http://www-conf.kek.jp/hyp2009/access.html.
