Definitely great outcomes have resulted from the work Rotary do and other supporting organisations. A credit to all members who have committed to the Vanuatu project, well done. I would to thank our guest Kerry McMillan for her attendance. We have a joint meeting with the Rotary Club Of Sale and the Rotary Club of Yarram this Tuesday 7th February at the Seaspray Surf Life Saving Club. We have organised a bus that will leave from the Caltex car park behind Safeway's at 5.30pm sharp and expect to be leaving Seaspray at 9.30pm for our return.... Coming up is the Visit to Wellington by Rotary Caravanners. FIFTY-Plus members of the Recreational Vehicle Fellowship of Rotarians, Southern Zone A (Caravan Club) will be based at the Sale Showground Caravan Park from Wednesday February 15 to Sunday February 19 inclusive. The group warmly invites the Rotary Club of Sale and Sale Central to join some of the planned activities they have whilst they are here. Information regarding this will be passed around at our joint meeting and details will also be emailed out to members.... Please take note of the upcoming dates and club programmes, these are listed just before the meeting roster in our bulletin as they list important dates for events that we need to be aware of. 2017 DISTRICT 9820 ROTARY ANNUAL CONFERENCE COMING SOON... The Rotary 9820 Conference is less than two months away so for those who are intending to go it would be a great idea to start planning. Rotary D9820 Conference Details: The Conference will be held at the Wrest Point Convention Centre, Hobart, Tasmania 24-26 March, 2017. Why not make it a holiday. RELAY FOR LIFE This year's Relay for Life event is to be on March 25 starting at 2pm and finishing at 8am the following morning. We need as many members and friends as possible in our team. Registration will cost $20 if done online by Feb 26, or $25 after that date. Please get names and money to Les Jackson ASAP. A bowls evening will be held as a fund raiser on Thursday Feb 16. Through a similar event last year we have $2600 in hand, so please support this bowls game even if you are unable to participate on March 25. An attendance sheet has been emailed with the Bulleting notification email, please fill in and return to Les or Andrew prior to 14 th February so Bowls Teams can be designated.
