WHY NORWICH AND THE EAST? The region has well-educated people who have, and continue to, aspire to achieve great things across many sectors. Norwich is a world-class city linked to the global community by one of the most connected regional airports in the world and is part of a region that boasts one of the fastest growing regional economies in the UK. Norwich and the East of the UK have a proud aviation heritage. For example, Norwich is the home of the first commercial metal-built aeroplane in the world and has a reputation for training some of the world s best aviation engineers. Many other firsts and pioneering movesforward happened in this part of the country. Building on that success, IAAN s partnership with KLM UK Engineering, Norwich International Airport, key local and national employers, and other airport users, is key to our hands-on, practical, real-world approach to the full range of aviation training. The expertise, assistance, and support of Aviation Skills Partnership, NPS Group, WT Partnership, and RG Carter has enabled this project to reach fruition and to meet its full potential. IAAN operates in an area which understands the value of the UK aviation industry and that wants to invest in its future.
