Within the thick walls of the Snow Hotel, you are hidden away from the darkness of the Arctic night with its harsh temperatures. Upon waking, a hot drink awaits you. The rooms in Arctic Snow Hotel and all its furniture have been entirely sculpted from snow and ice. Snow Hotel has single, double and triple rooms, and family rooms for 4 6 persons. The spacious Snow Suites are the most spectacular rooms. Each suite has been decorated with snow and ice decorations and is unique. The ambiance of the premises is enhanced using LED lighting. On the ice bed covered with reindeer furs, you will sleep fantastically surrounded by snow, thanks to the effectively insulating base and a quality sleeping bag. An overnight stay includes a guided tour, personal overnighting instructions, high quality and warm arctic sleeping bags, wake-up with hot drink served in your room, breakfast in the Lumikartano Restaurant, and a certificate of achievement celebrating your overnight stay in genuine arctic conditions. The log-built main building next to Snow Hotel has shower and toilet facilities. If a night spent in Snow Hotel is a bit too extreme, there are also heated areas associated with Snow Hotel where you can sleep.
Ice restaurant and bar The Ice Restaurant of Snow Hotel serves Arctic flavours surrounded by ice! The Lumikartano restaurants conjure up local and Lappish delicacies from game, local fish, Lappish berries, and so much more. Tasty food is laid out on a table sculpted entirely from ice that weighs nearly 400 kilograms.the Ice Restaurant can cater for a group of up to 200 diners by advance arrangement. At the Ice Bar, enjoy a drink made from a glass sculpted from ice! The unique atmosphere of the Ice Bar and outstanding acoustics just have to be experienced! The Ice Bar is also open if you want to pop-in from town for a unique drink. The Ice Bar is open during Snow Hotel opening hours. The barman only works some of the time at the Ice Bar, so please tell us you are coming! Lumikartano restaurant The impressive hall of Lumikartano with its massive log walls is a fantastic setting for festivities for groups of over 200 persons, and it is open year-round. The head chef prepares meals to order using local, Lappish ingredients. A cosy lounge with fireplace is connected to the hall, as well as a 10-person sauna available for booking. The restaurant is fully licensed. Kota restaurant Kota Restaurant, located on the shores of the Lehtojärvi Lake, is rich in atmosphere and is excellent for parties of 30 40 persons. The restaurant has a direct connection with the snowmobile routes. In the winter, you really need to taste the Kota signature dishes, glowfried salmon prepared by the open fire for lunch and the three-course dinner. Arctic weddings in the Ice Chapel A white wedding ceremony in the Ice Chapel is a dream come true! The fairytale-like atmosphere of the Ice Chapel provides a perfectly grand setting for the most important day of your lives. The seating on either side of the long aisle takes up to 120 wedding guests to watch the ceremony at the altar made of glistening snow and ice. The chapel emanates dignity and grandness, right down to the finest snowy details. Why not have the wedding rings offered from a box carved from ice? Following the winter wedding celebrations, the reception can be held with toasts and feasts in the Ice Restaurant, Lumikartano or Kota restaurants. We also have a professional flower designer on hand if needed.
