The biggest players in the spa sector are Tervise Paradiis, Tervis and Estonia. Lottemaa theme park started off well in 2014, Auto24 racetrack in Audru has developed an international clientele and in addition to the golf courses in Valgerand, the new golf centre Pärnu Bay Golf has been completed in Tahkuranna Rural Municipality. TOURISM 714,000+ Pärnu was visited by 714,000 domestic and foreign tourists during the season of 2017 from May to September included. The proportions of the foreign visitors and Estonians was exactly equal from all the visitors this year. Foreign visitors visit Pärnu primarily in July, an increasing trend is also visitations in August that is most likely influenced by the Weekend Festival taking place in the beginning of August. The visitations of domestic tourists are mostly dependent on the events taking place in Pärnu. The top attractions from the summer events in Pärnu are the Weekend Festival, Grillfest, August Insomnia, the opening of the motorcycle season, Hanseatic Days, etc. Otherwise, the number of foreign visitors in the summer usually grew on Fridays, on Saturdays among Estonians. According to Positium, foreigners stay in Pärnu for 4.1 days on average when looked at from the four-year average, but Estonians for 2.3 days. The passive cell phone positioning research conducted by OÜ Positium LBS in 2017 that was ordered by Pärnu City Government has been used in this media card. EVENTS The visitations of Estonians are also affected a lot by the summer events taking place that invite people to visit Pärnu for a short term. The events are mostly as an added bonus than a purpose among the foreign tourists. But Weekend stands out here, which is why a lot of the festival visitors come to Pärnu for the purpose of visiting the festival. Mayv2016 Mayv2017 TABLE 1. The main event in June was Grillfestival. The number of visits made by Estonians increased about 81% at that time. 4

The Hanseatic Days and Pärnu Summer Cup that took place at the same time in both years have been the top events of the beginning of July. The Happy Children s Festival also affected the number of visitations made by Estonians significantly, the visitation increased 62% on those days. TABLE 4. The number of visitations made by Estonians increased 68% during August Insomnia and another 1.4 times the following year. The biggest influence on the number of domestic and foreign tourists in August is the Weekend Festival. 1. BUS PAVILIONS / CITY-LIGHT Siris installed 54 new and modern bus pavilions in the city of Pärnu in 2017. Every pavilion includes a two-sided city-light advertisement. The size of each advertising side is about 2 m2 that is enough for forwarding a message to the right target group. In collaboration with the Pärnu County Public Transport Centre, the outer glasses of the public transport shelters are decorated with unique design elements. In addition, it is possible to create special solutions for the pavilions that are suitable for the city image. 2. DESIGN POLE (A1) There are design poles with a Corten effect located on the curbsides of the bus stops in Pärnu since 2017. In addition to their modern appearance, they are of great public value. The poles include an A4-sized board at eye level for advertisements, a trash can and a two-sided advertisement area for an A1-sized poster. Digital displays showing bus times have also been installed on top of the poles. It is possible to reach pedestrians as well as drivers with an A1-sized poster. The advertisements are visible for people on their way to work, home, school, shop. By using branding packages, it is possible to cover all the strategical places in the city of Pärnu. 4. BEACH CABANAS Siris installed 25 new double and 10 single beach cabanas to the beach in downtown Pärnu in 2017. The entrance into the cabana with the logo of the city of Pärnu is on the side facing the sea, the other three sides are meant for advertising companies products and services. The advertisement is produced onto a weatherproof PVC plate that keeps its shape all summer long. The prices include the production, installation and the advertising fee of the advertising posters. THE TECHNICAL CONDITIONS OF THE PRINT FILES 01 02 We accept only composite PDF print files in accordance with established PDF/X (PDF/ X-1a or PDF/X-4) standards for printing. The coloration of the print file must be in CMYK. The print file that is printed only in CMYK cannot contain unnecessary Spot, RGB or other colours. In the preparation process for printing, the files that include these colours will be converted automatically to CMYK that could give a slightly different outcome in comparison to the shade on the client s screen. 03 04 05 Image density (resolution) must be 300 400 dpi, the backgrounds and other less important objects in raster graphics 200 dpi, but not less than 150 dpi (posters). All fonts must be included in the PDF file (embedded) or converted into objects (curved).
