Children s Hospital Toy Run- December 7, 2014 Registration options: 1. At Avalanche Harley-Davidson- ask the receptionist for an Event registration form 2. Show up between 8 and 8:45 AM on December 7 at AHD- departing at 9:00 AM Must have a wristband to go on the ride and to enter the Aurora Sports Park 3. Coffee and donuts available at registration, burritos and coffee available at the park 4. Volunteers needed to park bikes at the hospital- contact Johanna (jevdl@aol.com) or (303) 523-0039 5. Redeeming Love Church Food Distribution- December 20, 2014 It's the Holiday Season again so let's pitch in and help the Church of the Redeeming Love. For those of you who volunteered last year, you will remember how much fun we had and for those that are new to our Chapter, come see how rewarding it is to help this Church serve their community. Meet at McDonald's, Kipling and Colfax. 8-8:30 depending on whether you want to eat something before we carpool to the Church. Of course those who would prefer to meet at the Church can do that too: We will be leaving McDonald's at 8:30 and we will meet at the Church at 9. If you have any questions please let us know. to let us know you can make it and DCH will buy the volunteers a well-deserved lunch after the distribution! Page 11

December 20 Chapter Social For those who participated in the LOH Turkey Trot- please be at the December Social so you can pick up your Turkey Trot pin and feather! The Denver Chapter will continue to collect food items for the Redeeming Love food distribution- please bring your donations to the monthly Chapter Social. Brush up on your Harley-Davidson trivia from our Historian- Randy Espinoza s presentations as he will be asking questions and awarding prizes for correct answers at the December Social. Reminder: Please do NOT bring in any food or drinks to the American Legion- they have a food and beverage license and bringing in food and/or beverages are not permissible. Last Chance to order a name tag: Julie will be placing a nametag order after the December 10 Chapter Social- so if you have not already ordered your nametag- please contact Julie ASAP!! Mileage contest- Please send you ending mileage for 2014 to Bob Francisco (bob.francisco@yahoo.com) Just take a date stamped photo of your odometer on or before December 31. You may also use that photo to enter the 2015 Chapter and Metro mileage contest! Annual Dues- January through December MEMBERSHIP MESSAGE Welcome new and current members. We are excited to have you as part of the Denver Chapter HOG Family. Any Harley-Davidson motorcycle owner can become a full or life member of the National Harley Owners Group. Associate memberships are designed for the passenger of a full/life member and must be sponsored by that full/life member. To be a member of Denver Chapter HOG, you must first be a paid member of National HOG- Full, Life or an Associate. An expired National membership automatically terminates the local chapter membership (HOG policy). To participate in HOG rides, you must have a motorcycle endorsement on your valid Colorado Driver s License and the appropriate insurance.
