E-Newsletter www.bangkokflightservices.com Issue 3/2008 Handling with CARE Customer Attentive Responsive Efficient Dear Aviation Colleagues Greetings from MD This latest newsletter covers BFS two new customers in July Qatar Airways and Iran Air. We would like to welcome both these customers to BFS handling and look forward to delivering world class services to them in Bangkok. For Iran Air it is a resumption of services into Bangkok after a long absence. For Qatar BFS was nominated as the pilot company to roll out their 5 Star Service on the Ground. As one of the 6 Skytrax awarded 5 star airlines in the world QR have taken the decision to devise a 5 star on the ground product and BKK and BFS have been selected to launch this project. BFS are honoured to have been selected and are busy working with QR on this new service delivery product. Also in the news with Skytrax is our parent company Bangkok Airways who have been awarded Best Regional Airline in Asia for the fifth consecutive year a remarkable achievement and a great reflection of the excellent service attitude of the PG Group. Last month BFS and BAC hosted a BBQ for our customers to thank them for their business and to allow everyone to get to know each other in a relaxed environment. BFS, EK, KU and BAC joined together on a local community project to fill with love and care at Klong Bang-Pu Kindergarden and Primary School as part of our commitment to support the local community. During the past weeks Thailand has been in the world press because of the political turmoil and civil unrest. Phuket, Krabi and Hat Yai Airports were closed from Friday 29 th for a day or so yet Bangkok has remained open practically unaffected with exception of a few diverted flights from Phuket. All airports in Thailand are now open. The State of Emergency was lifted earlier this week and we do not expect any further disruptions to our industry and for BFS it has been business as usual with no problems. 2 BFS received a letter of appreciation from the embassy of the Union of Myanmar BFS actively assisted several ad-hoc humanitarian aid chartered flights, in our effort to assist Nargis Cyclone victim last May 2008. The below letter is from the Embassy of the Union of Myanmar thanking BFS for waiving warehouse charges on medicine donated my Sri Lankan Government.

BFS Updated News 3 BFS Launch Premium Airport Services Bangkok Flight Services (BFS) one of the 2 ground handlers at Suvarnabhumi airport launch its new Premium Airport Services this month. The new Premium Airport Services offers great ease of travel by providing travelers many premium airport services assistance including meet & assist, immigration fast track, premium lounge services. BFS Premium Airport Services are available on request to all travelers. For departing passengers, our agent provides assistance from the curbside, facilitating the check-in and immigration process and onward to the aircraft departure gate. For arriving passengers, our agent will assist the passenger from the aircraft arrival gate, facilitating immigration formalities and escorting the passengers to the passenger s ground transportation. Our lounge services are also available for passengers in transit requiring a comfortable and peaceful place, to get a bit of work done or to shower and relax between flights. BFS Premium Airport Services are also available for all discerned travelers or those who may need extra assistance while transiting through Suvarnabhumi Airport. WFS is going to India WFS, a shareholder Bangkok Flight Services, have been selected by Delhi Indira Ghandhi International airport (code:del) as the first international ground handler to provide the full range of ramp and pax services at both international and domestic terminals. WSF (India) has been granted a ten year franchise in DEL and will be structured as a joint-venture. WFS will be teamed up with Bird group which is the well-established group in aviation scene of India and will be known as WFS (India). WFS (India) will be under the operational and commercial management of WFS, and will be fully integrated into the WFS network.

4 Bangkok Flight Services Started Handling Qatar Airways at Suvarnabhumi Airport On July 1, 2008 Bangkok Flight Services (BFS) greeted the new customer Qatar Airways with the arrival of QR 612 landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 08:03 from Doha. Qatar Airways Airbus 330-300 received full handling services from BFS, including passenger handling, ground handling and cargo handling. On site warmly welcoming Qatar s flight were Mr. Peter Morrizo, BFS General Manager-Ground and Mr. Robert Ruesz, BFS Director Service Delivery. The two Directors presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Mohammed M. Alhariri, Airport Service Manager Airways and gave our souvenirs to cockpit crews, cabin crews and local staffs of Qatar Airways showing great pleasure and honor that Qatar Airways chose BFS as the choice of handling service provider. Bangkok Flight Services Welcome Iran Air Inaugural Flight to Suvarnabhumi Airport On 19 th July 2008, Bangkok Flight Services (BFS) greeted Iran Air inaugural flight to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Iran Air chose full handling services from BFS including passenger service, ramp service and cargo service. The inaugural flight IR820 of Iran Air, using Boeing 747-SP on route Tehran- Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur, landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 8:35 am and departed for Kuala Lumpur at 11:13 am. Ms. Rungtiwa Senawong, BFS Service Delivery- Customer Service Manager was on the ground to present a Certificate of Appreciation and BFS souvenirs to the representative of Iran Air, the latest customer of BFS. Currently, Iran Air operates scheduled flight from Tehran- Bangkok and Bangkok-Tehran twice times a week every Wednesday and Saturday, arriving Bangkok at 06:50 am and departing for Tehran at 08:50 am. However, only the inaugural flight was special with an extension to Kuala Lumpur.

5 Bangkok Flight Services, Bangkok Air Catering, Emirates and Kuwait Airlines Charity Program - To Fill with Care and Love On 23rd of July, Bangkok Flight Services (BFS), Bangkok Air Catering (BAC) together with Emirates Airlines (EK) and Kuwait Airlines (KU) arranged a special charity program To fill with Care and Love to give back to the local community at Klong Bang-pu Kindergarten and Primary school, Ampur Muang, Samutprakarn to assist the children who are academically excellent but lack budget. BFS, BAC, Emirates Airlines and Kuwait Airways staff jointly provided lunch for the students, gave the scholarships, stationary and dry food such as rice, sugar, milk and cooking oil to MS. Dawan Chusawai, the Head Master of the school and also enjoyed the fun activity with the students. BFS would like to thanks Emirate Airlines which is the organizer and also the related companies who made this activity a smooth and happy success for all. BFS and BAC arranged the 2008 BBQ Party Bangkok Flight Services (BFS) and Bangkok Air Catering (BAC) recently arranged BBQ Party on 31st July, 2008 at BFS Ground Building. This party was very much appreciated and enjoyed by the representatives from various government agencies, airlines and freight forwarders as the event allowed the guests to meet and mingle in relaxing atmosphere with jazz music performed by The Royal Thai Navy Band. BAC made sure that the guests fully enjoyed their meals by cooking and catering plenty of delicious dishes for both vegetarian or non-vegetarian, thus further ensured the satisfaction participants. Bangkok Airways wins Asia s Best Regional Airline 2008 Bangkok Airways, as a BFS parents company, once again won the Best Regional Airline for Asia according to this year s announcement from the World Airline Awards poll conducted by Skytrax. This achievement follows the airline s recognition on the top rung in the regional category since 2004.
