Our tour will include a stop at two of Grapevine s most popular wineries, free time in historic downtown Grapevine for shopping and lunch. Presidential Tour Price: $145 (Includes tour, transportation and lunch) The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum serves as a resource for the study of the life and career of George W. Bush, while also promoting a better understanding of the Presidency, American history, and important issues of public policy. The Library and Museum accomplishes its mission by preserving and providing access to Presidential records and other donated collections, hosting public programs, creating educational initiatives, preserving artifacts, and producing innovative museum exhibits. Following lunch, we will continue on to The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza which chronicles the assassination and legacy of President John F. Kennedy; interprets the Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza; and presents contemporary culture within the context of presidential history. Sporting Clay Shooting Activity 9:00 am - 1:30 pm Cost per person: $200 (includes transportation, shotgun rental, ammunition, a snack, nonalcoholic beverages, golf cart and instructor) The fun begins as we go outside to start shooting. Each participant in the group has the opportunity to work with an instructor individually. Each squad will depart by golf cart to our Sporting Clay Course accompanied by shooting range staff. The squads travel from station to station by golf cart, similar to playing golf. As each squad finishes at their shooting post, they load up on the golf carts and drive to the next sporting clay peg. At the conclusion of the course, all squads return to the clubhouse area and as a group we have a finishing event called a Flush. The whole group ends up together and participates in the last event with cheering, friendly competition and lots of target busting. Blue Hawk Gives Back Sponsored by Friday, April 29, 2016 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm Cost per volunteer: $40 (includes transportation, lunch and volunteer t-shirt) Join BLUE HAWK in Kickin Hunger out of the Nest in our 2016 BLUE HAWK Gives Back event with our partner the North Texas Food Bank. Founded in 1982, the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization. NTFB provides access to nearly 170,000 nutritious meals every day and provided 62 million nutritious meals last year. Every dollar donated to NTFB provides three meals to hungry North Texans, and out of every dollar, 93 cents goes directly to hunger relief programs.
