Members also believe that this would be overdevelopment on what is a small piece of land, the proposed development intends to use the existing main drains and there is already proven evidence that the existing properties experience difficulty with drainage problems, any new development would increase the problem. Cllr Sue Steel told members that Ward Councillors had also expressed their concerns. The proposed roundabout will no doubt cause traffic problems. Members will wait for the planning application to arrive. Clerk told members that Paul Smith, landlord of Royal Mail, had rang to thank everyone for their support and confirmed that he had received the license for The New Royal Mail. Clerk told members that the Saltend Drop-in Centre will close on 28th October but they can still be contacted on customer helpline number 03451 242424. 189.1 189.2 It was RESOLVED that the phone box at Ryehill be purchased from BT at a cost of 1 following the proposed removal of a number of phone boxes through East Riding. A letter from a resident of Camerton asking members to support his request to ERYC to look at speeding traffic. Katie Storey from ERYC has confirmed that a traffic survey will be done and the results sent to the clerk when complete. It was RESOLVED that an Asbestos Management Survey be done at the Village Hall. Cllr M Wilson suggested that the Parish Council look at organising a Harvest Festival evening at the Village Hall in 2017.
