DAY 02 -TUESDAY, APRIL 27 FRANKFURT/TEL AVIV/CAESAREA Arrive Frankfurt and change planes to Tel Aviv. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 03 - WEDNESDAY, APRIL 28 CAESAREA/MT. CARMEL/TIBERIAS Visit Caesarea Maritima, Roman capital of Judea, where Pontius Pilate lived and Paul departed on his journey to Rome. Visit the ancient Roman aqueduct and amphitheater. See beautiful Mt. Carmel where Elijah had his contest with the prophets of Baal, and the panoramic point overlooking the Sea of Galilee. End today at your hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight. DAY 04 -THURSDAY, APRIL 29 CAPERNAUM/CAESAREA PHILIPPI/DAN Early risers can enjoy sunrise over Sea of Galilee and a view of biblical Bashan (the Golan Heights). Immediately following breakfast, cross Sea of Galilee by boat, visit Kibbutz Nof Ginosar, Capernaum, Magdala, Mt. Arbel, and the Mt. of Beatitudes. Travel at the base of the Golan Heights past Hazor, scene of fierce fighting in the time of the Judges, to Caesarea Philippi. Visit Tel Dan with its the beautiful forest at the source of Jordan River. Be baptized or re-baptized in the Jordan River. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 05 - FRIDAY, APRIL 30 TIBERIAS/ MEGIDDO/BETH SHAN/JERUSALEM Travel on along the Valley of Jezreel to visit Megiddo. Stand above the Plain of Armageddon. Visit the enormous excavations at Beth Shan and view Mt. Gilboa and the Jordan Valley. End the day at your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. DAY 06 - SATURDAY, MAY 1 JERUSALEM Begin the day by walking down the Kidron Valley along the eastern wall of the Old City. Visit the recently discovered Pool of Siloam and visit the top of the Mount of Olives with its magnificent view
of the city of Jerusalem. Travel to Gordon s Calvary and spend time at the Garden Tomb where your group will enjoy a communion service together. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. DAY 07 - SUNDAY, MAY 2 JERUSALEM Visit the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees and enjoy a worship time with the group. Visit the City of David excavations and see the entry to the Gihon Spring where Jerusalem began. Proceed to the Shrine of the Book and the model of Jerusalem in New Testament times. DAY 08 - MONDAY, MAY 3 JERUSALEM Skirt the famous Kidron Valley and enter the Old City by the Dung Gate to see the Temple Mount, the Wailing Wall, and the Dome of the Rock. See the beautiful Eastern Gate and visit the Cardo and Jewish Quarter. See the ruins of the Pool of Bethesda and explore the Rabbinic tunnel to view the foundations of Herod s city. Spend the afternoon in Bethlehem seeing the Church of the Nativity and the cave-stable of Jesus birth. Return to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight. DAY 09 - TUESDAY, MAY 4 JERUSALEM/JERICHO/MASADA/JERUSALEM Travel the Jericho Road to ancient Jericho, stopping in the Judean Wilderness, site of the temptation of Christ. Continue on to travel the length of the Dead Sea, stopping at Qumran and Caves of the Scrolls, view the valley that may have inspired the 23 rd Psalm, and visit historic Masada, where from AD 70-73 Jewish defenders made the last stand of the Judean revolt against Rome. Meal Plan: The meal plan consists of breakfast and dinner, depending on the routine of the itinerary. Taxes and service charges normally appearing on the restaurant bills are included in the tour price. Baggage: One checked bag plus one carry-on are allowed free of charge on the airlines on the tour. All Passengers should check with the airline for up-to-date baggage weight and dimension information and restrictions.
