WEDNESDAY, 12 AUGUST Enjoy an early breakfast and then depart for a full day trip to the beautiful island of Zanzibar. Depart from Dar Es Salaam International Airport for your short flight to Zanzibar, where you will meet your guide at the airport. Continue on for a Spice Tour and a visit to one of the largest Arab Slave trading posts in East Africa. After a briefing at the Ngorongoro Crater, proceed to Serena Lodge to collect lunch boxes before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. You will be met at the airport in Lalibela and transferred to your hotel. After checking in we will begin the tour of the 12 th Century UNESCO World Heritage rock hewn churches of Lalibela. The first group of six churches lie in rock cradles one behind the other: Bete Golgotha, Bete Michael, Bete Mariam, Bete Meskel, Bete Danaghel and Bete Medhane Alem.
