Construction of Two Sections of the Metropolitan Perimeter Road Construction of the Metropolitan Perimeter Road, sections: General Rumiñahui Highway - Gualo. General Rumiñahui Highway- Tambillo. The route crosses from South to North along the eastern side of the city of Quito bordering the hills of Puengasí, Lumbisi, Auquitas, Guanguiltahua (Tanda area) and reaches the plains of Nayon, Gualo, and Tambillo. The construction of this road is a valid alternative to traffic decongestion in: Valle de los Chillos, Northern part of Quito and Provinces of Imbabura and Carchi (General Rumiñahui Avenue, el Trébol, Historic Center, Eloy Alfaro Avenue and Simón Bolívar) USD 1.200.000.000 General Rumiñahui Highway Gualo section, has definite studies General Rumiñahui Highway Tambillo section, there are no studies ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Blueprints for General Rumiñahui Highway Gualo section SUGGESTED Decongestion of Valle de los Chillos.

Construction of Ruta Viva Phase III Construction of Ruta Viva Phase III. Cumbayá, Tumbaco, Puembo, Tababela and Pifo. Ruta Viva has improved accessibility conditions and mobilization times from the center of the city of Quito to the South - East valleys to the new airport located in the town of Tababela, reducing traffic congestion in the Interoceanica Av., as well as in the surrounding roads. Phase III will begin in the interchanger called Auquitas, projected onto the Av. Simon Bolivar, in the sector of San Juan Bautista Alto. On this site is where the descent of the slope heading towards the Valley of Cumbayá begins, passing through the area of San Patricio, La Primavera neighborhood, crosses the San Pedro River in the area called Rojas, then it passes the Intervalles road in the area called "the S," it continues through the southern part of Tumbaco, the sector of La Morita, Arenal, crosses the Chiche River, crosses Interoceanica road nearby the town of Puembo, crosses the Guambi River and ends at the interchange of Tababela, very close to the ravine of Alpachaca, where it connects to the new airport of Quito. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION SUGGESTED USD 60.000.000 Final Study. Road design plans. Expand Ruta Viva Phase III to improve accessibility and mobilization times.

Underground Parking at La Carolina Park Build two structures of underground parking at La Carolina Park in the city of Quito. Iñaquito Parish - La Carolina Park area. The vehicle fleet increases by approximately 30,000 vehicles a year. According to the census, there is 1 vehicle per person, with an occupation rate of 1.7 persons per vehicle. However, as the number of trips is not evenly distributed, 30% of them are concentrated in private transportation. From an infrastructure point of view, and considering surface consumption per passenger, automobiles occupy thirty times more square meters of circulation than a bus and five times more than bicycles. The problems generated by this situation are well known: more time spent on transfers within the city (economic and social loss of man-hours), increased levels of air pollution, increased levels of noise, impoverishment of the urban landscape and, in general, a detriment of the quality of life of the population. For this reason, the construction of two underground parking lots, with 800 spots each is necessary, with an additional advantage that these underground parking lots will be near the subway station. SUGGESTED USD 7.000.000 Project Profile. Increase the use of public parking.

Cableway transportation system (Toctiuco - El Tejar Line) Cableway transportation system (Toctiuco - El Tejar Line) Parishes in the Historic Center. The model of Quito as a compact central city has a road structure that responds to a longitudinal model, excluding the transversal connections which make the East-West connections difficult, mainly in the higher parts of the city, which by its topography is where the subsystems of cableway will provide a better performance. It is a viable alternative to public transportation that will be integrated with other existing services and transportation corridors; by doing this we will satisfy the traveling needs of people living in the above-mentioned areas. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION USD 36.097.000 Preliminary study for the implementation of three lines of cableway in higher parts of the Metropolitan District of Quito. Preliminary feasibility study for cableway system. Survey on mobility for Quito cableway system. Consulting for the study of the demand for cableway transportation system. Technical assistance for the cableway system project Integrated modeling for the demand for a cableway system in Quito Preliminary design drawings, financial model, determination of bollards and stations. Finance the construction, operation and maintenance of the cableway transportation system Toctiuco - El Tejar line.

Cableway transportation system (Argelia - Los Chillos Line) Cableway transportation system (Argelia - Los Chillos Line) Parishes: Argelia - Conocoto. To be determined. No studies. It starts with pre-feasibility study. Finance the construction, operation and maintenance of the cableway transportation system Argelia Conocoto line.

Centralized Tariffed Rotary Parking System in González Suárez Services for the installation, administration, operation, technical support and maintenance of the Centralized Tariffed Rotary Parking System. Includes signage, system and equipment in the González Suárez area. González Suárez area. Identify the real rotation rate of vehicles, as well as prevent parking fee payment evasion, so the city can avoid losses. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION USD 2.000.000 Project Profile. Ordinances, maps, presentations. Modernize the Zona Azul parking system, while complying with sustainable mobility policies, as well as provide a more efficient and optimal service.

Construction and operation of the new BRT line Labrador - Carapungo Metropolitan Public Company of Passenger Transportation of Quito. To extend and operate the integrated public transportation system to the area of Carapungo with exclusive lanes, stops and stations. For this reason, the Municipality of the Metropolitan District of Quito, has planned to develop the integration line project called Labrador Carapungo as an extension of the trolley system, using articulated or bi-articulated buses, that will integrate the current trolleybus system Quitumbe La Y, with one of the most important residential expansion zones as is Calderón-Carapungo, Llano Chico and Llano Grande located in the Northern part of the city. The expansion area is currently home to approximately 469,073 inhabitants, located in the area of influence of the project (Calderón, Llano Chico, Marianitas, Zabala, San Juan, Carapungo, Llano Grande, Carcelén, Comité del Pueblo, la Bota). The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses- INEC foresees that by 2020 this population will increase to approximately 520,804 inhabitants. Metropolitan District of Quito Zonal Administration of Calderón. Due to the existing need to implement a transportation project that will improve the mobility conditions in the Zonal Administration of Calderón and since there are no economic resources for financing the project, we propose to implement the project under a form of concession or The backbone corridor of Labrador Carapungo should include the construction of the required road infrastructure, procurement of buses and operation of the route. Target Population: Public transportation users in Quito, the indirect beneficiary population corresponds to all citizens 2,500,000, while the direct beneficiary population is: Users of the Corridor Labrador-Carapungo: 150,000 passengers per day.

MOBILITY Civil Works: USD 36.000.000 New Buses: USD 30.000.000 Total: USD 66.000.000 Basic studies - Profile. Improve public transportation in the Zonal Administration of Calderon and it s area of influence, with the construction of road infrastructure, acquisition of buses and operation of the route.
