Airport News Recap of RWY 13-31 Paving Project During the week of August 12, DM AIRPORTS, LTD. completed paving work on RWY 13-31, MMU s crosswind runway. Crews milled out and repaved two, 2,000 sections of pavement. The work was done ahead of an expected full keel-repair project for the crosswind runway in 2019. Along with pavement work completed on RWY 13-31, DM also did some minor repairs on an access road and completed some routine runway painting. Check out some photos from the work below! Above and Below: Crews run a pavement milling machine down sections of RWY 13-31 in preparation for new pavement. Page 1

Airport News Upcoming September & October Construction at Morristown Airport Runway 5/23 will be CLOSED from 2300L to 0600L nightly from Monday, September 17th through Thursday, September 20th. Runway 13-31 will remain OPEN during this closure. Taxiway Alpha will be CLOSED between Taxiway Bravo and Taxiway Echo from 2300L Wednesday, September 19th to 0600L Thursday, September 20th. These closures are needed for required geotechnical work that is in preparation for the larger Runway 5-23 Rehabilitation Project. Painting of the Runway 5/23 center line is scheduled for this October. This will necessitate an eight-hour closure of Runway 5/23 and a one-hour closure to fixed-wing aircraft to accommodate painting in the intersection of Runway 5/23 and Runway 13/31. Due to the cooler temperatures potentially affecting the paint drying time, the intersection closure time will be determined closer to the day of work. Runway 5/23 will be CLOSED Saturday, October 13th from 0800L to 1600L. The rain date for this work is Saturday, October 20th from 0800L to 1600L. Page 4
