OBJECTIVES and PROGRAMME ICAO and the McGill University Institute of Air and Space Law (McGill ISASL) will be convening this special Conference at the Hilton Montréal Bonaventure Hotel in Montréal, Canada, from 26 to 27 September 2010, preceding the 37th ICAO Assembly Session. This event will be the third of this kind, once more, assisting Assembly delegates in their preparations as key issues will be tackled in an interactive forum and relaxing atmosphere, encouraging networking with other stakeholders. ICAO/McGill ISASL will bring together civil aviation authorities, well-known industry experts, government policy leaders and academics who will analyse problems and present potential solutions to the most pressing challenges, facing air transport today. Fundamental themes of concern to the Assembly and global aviation will be addressed: The state of the aviation industry; Security and facilitation; Aviation and the environment; and Strategies and the way forward.
