July 7, 2016 The St. Petersburg/Clearwater Sports Commission is excited to welcome the players, coaches, and fans for the 2017 ISF Jr. Women s Softball World Championships. This event is being held in bright and beautiful Clearwater, Florida as a result of our partnership with the City of Clearwater. The St. Pete/Clearwater area is not only a world-class sports tourism destination, but a wonderful location for family getaways as well. We hope everyone will take some time while here to explore all the area has to offer, including cultural attractions like the Salvador Dali Museum and our award-winning beaches. About the Venue Named after the former Clearwater Bomber player and manager who also worked as the Clearwater Parks and Recreation Director, The Eddie C. Moore Complex has nine (9) fields located on Drew street. These fields are also connected by a walking trail. The Complex offers soft toss areas for pre game warm-ups. Fields 8 and 9 also have state of the art training facilities with covered batting tunnels, press box, concession stands, picnic areas, and permanent restrooms.
