NEWSLETTER CONSTRUCTION UPDATES A s 2016 is coming to an end we re realizing that these past two years have gone by in a flash. When we first visited the Rancho San Lucas site all that was there was an incredibly beautiful property and a great plan to turn it into the next best thing in Cabo. There were no roads, there was no electricity, not even cell phone coverage. How soon things change. Here we are in late 2016 and much has been done at Rancho San Lucas to turn the dream into a reality. Over the past 12-18 months we cleared the roads and started to install the basic infrastructure in the 834 acre masterplan. The main access road with more than 1.5 miles of hydraulic concrete and more than 4 miles of underground services has been progressing as scheduled. One of the first things we did was build a warehouse for all the materials that will be used in the construction of the Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas. Marked The Villas and The Estates subdivisions and began clearing the lot pads at The Villas. Thousands specimens of indigenous flora were rescued to be used latter in the landscaping of the entire development. Click here to view a video of the construction progress.
RANCHO SAN LUCAS GOLF Rancho San Lucas will feature a spectacular golf course designed by Greg Norman and in his own words; it promises to be one of the best golf courses he s designed to date. According to Norman this piece of land offers extraordinary opportunities for an incredible course. The Rancho San Lucas Golf Club will feature seven ocean front holes and a spectacular island green. Owners and guests at Rancho San Lucas and our sister properties will enjoy exclusive access to tee times. Work has recently begun on the golf course and we are currently shaping the back nine. RESORT UPDATE Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas promises to be the crowning jewel in the collection of Solmar Group Resorts. Everything you ve come to love and expect from our family or resorts will be improved at Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas. For the architectural design we ve partnered once again with HKS, after the wonderful results we had at Grand Solmar at Land s End. HKS is known for designing spaces and places where people long to return. Phase One of the resort is well under way with clear advances in the first four buildings and the main lobby. This phase will also include two pools and a monumental salt water lagoon. Close to a thousand workers make daily progress to have everything ready for the Grand opening that is scheduled for late December of 2017.
