Bus (only for those who had booked during registration) a) Please arrive at the Hallelujah Quadrant on 11 Jun by 6.45am. b) There will be a lunch stop at Seremban (lunch provided). c) Estimated arrival at KL is 3.00pm. d) There will be separate buses for Pullman KL Bangsar and Gardens Hotel. ii. Car (directions are available on the camp website) a) The estimated travel time is 4-6hrs, depending on traffic. Please plan to arrive at the hotel between 2-4pm. b) Parking is free at Pullman KL Bangsar. Please validate your parking coupon at the concierge before exiting the carpark. c) Parking at Gardens Hotel is RM5 on a per entry basis. Please validate and pay at the concierge before collecting your car. Refer to camp website for details on which carpark to use. iii. Plane a) Transfer from KLIA to Pullman KL Bangsar will take about 1 hour. b) Estimated cost: RM90 (taxi), RM120 (Premier transfer), RM80 (Grab), excluding toll charges. 1 Note that there is another Pullman Hotel at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre. 2. Things to bring a. Passport i. Please ensure at least 6mths validity from 11 Jun 18. ii. Visas may be required for non-singaporeans. b. Ringgit i. Cash payment is required for all additional nights that have been requested through the camp committee (pre- or post- camp). Please note that only cash is accepted and payment is to be made at a separate counter to booking agent HAJANA. c. Clothes for 4D/3N d. Personal medication (if any) e. b. Lunch and Dinner. All campers will have their Lunch and Dinner at Pullman KL Bangsar. All meals will be provided from dinner on 11 Jun to lunch on 14 Jun. The menu at all the restaurants will be the same. Hotel F&B. Apart from designated meal times, food is available at Pullman KL Bangsar s restaurants (The Link, La Cucina and The Lounge) at a 30% discount (cash or credit cards accepted). La Cucina is open till midnight daily. This discount is not applicable for room service. Please show your BBTC camper tag to obtain the discount. 6. Other Details a. Shopping. The nearest shopping malls to Pullman KL Bangsar are Mid Valley Mall, and Bangsar Village. Free hotel shuttles to Mid Valley Mall leave from Pullman KL Bangsar at the following timings: 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.00pm, 5.00pm, 6.30pm, 8.00pm. Return trips from Mid Valley Mall are at 2.00pm, 8.30pm and 10.00pm. Bookings are required as seats are limited. Bookings can be made at the Pullman concierge. Transfer by Grab will cost about RM10 each way. b. Food Trail. A simple map of famous KL food is available for campers who are feeling adventurous. Pick it up at the Service Counter at PKLB Chill-out Room on Level3. c. Medical Treatment. i. The nearest hospital is 5mins away at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Address: 8, Jalan Bukit Pantai, Taman Bukit Pantai, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ii. iii. iv. The hotels are equipped with a first-aid kit at the registration counter. A BBTC medical professional will be seated at a first-aid counter at the rear of the main ballroom during the morning and evening main speaker sessions. He/she will be able to provide basic medical advice and treatment for campers who are unwell. At other times, please contact the hotel staff, or the camp committee Emergency Contact persons below, if you require medical assistance. d. Security. The hotels are open to the public and are not secured. 3
i. Watch out for your belongings at all times and do not leave valuables unattended. Report any strange people or behaviour to the camp committee or hotel staff. ii. For easy identification, please wear your lanyard and BBTC camper tag at all times. iii. A panel discussion on the roles that our PIM play, and the challenges they face on the ground. b) PIM Breakout Groups. Join the PIM Country Breakouts for an in-depth look at country-specific ministries. iv. Lunch with Partner-in-Missions. Have lunch with your PIM and get to know them over a meal. PIM will be seated in a designated dining area at Oriental Chinese restaurant during lunchtime on Tue and Wed. (Sign-ups required) v. Laser Tag! 12 Jun 1.30-6.00pm Go head-to-head with your friends in a Laser Tag shoot-out in a purpose-built arena! This activity is for those age 13 years-old and above, and costs RM100 per person (includes activity and transport cost). (Advance booking and payment is required) vi. Movie Screening. Movies for children and adults will be screened in the afternoons on 12 and 13 Jun during the same timings as the Afternoon Sessions and PIM Panel. Free snacks will be provided. Please note there will be no adult supervision provided and parents are to be responsible for their own children. (No sign-up required. More details will be made available later.) c. Side Activities. Apart from the main and afternoon programmes, there are several other activities that will be running throughout the camp. While these activities are optional, come try them out for a full camp experience! i. The Blessing Table. Bring a small gift that you would like to bless someone else with at The Blessing Table. Bring one, take one! ii. iii. Hotline to Heaven. Peg your prayer requests on a prayer card and pray alongside for others prayer requests. The Journey. Walk through the lives of Nehemiah, Ruth and Timothy as you take the time to reflect on your own journey, guided by their life stories. Open 24 hours. 6
iv. Instagram Challenges. Capture the moment and share it with BBTCians @arise.advance #ariseadvance v. The Best Shot. A professional photo booth will be set up outside the Ballroom from 12.30-3.00pm on Tue and Wed for you to take up to ONE family photo and ONE CG photo. vi. PIM Corner. Some Partner-in-Missions will be setting up information booths to share on their work and ministry. Drop by to say Hi! vii. The Bookshop. Browse the selection of Christian books at a table specially setup for campers. viii. Morning Exercise. There are two options for morning exercise for those who want to start the day with a shot of endorphins. Activities are selfpaced but please seek medical advice before participating if you have existing medical conditions. a) Tabata is an efficient high-intensity interval training that leaves you burning calories for the rest of the day. Pullman KL Swimming Pool area. b) Zumba is an aerobic dance fitness programme featuring various styles of Latin and international dance forms. Burn up to 900 calories per session! Pullman KL Gym. 9. Reminders a. Pray for the Spirit of God to work through the Camp Speaker and Camp Committee. b. Practice patience and graciousness during check-in and mealtimes. c. Be a good testimony to the hotel staff. d. Be punctual for sessions. e. Dress appropriately. Bring a jacket if you re likely to be cold. f. Watch after your own personal items. g. Inform the committee if you are leaving camp early. h. Keep noise levels down after 10pm. i. Participate fully and try to get to know at least 10 other BBTCians! 7
