DAY 1: USA / GREECE Fly through the night to Athens, Greece. DAY 2: ATHENS Kalós ílthate stin Elláda! Meet your Greek Forum Tour Manager upon arrival at the airport. Transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage. Follow your Forum Tour Manager on a walk around Athens and see the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Arch of Hadrian and the Roman Agora. Explore the bazaar area and enjoy its Middle Eastern atmosphere. Enjoy the view of the sunset from Lykavittos Hill. Have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight accommodation in Athens. DAY 3: SARONIC ISLANDS CRUISE Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group. Embark on a one-day three-island cruise! Don t miss the beautiful 5th century BC Temple of Aphaia, the pistachio orchards in Aegina, the Grand 18th century mansions surrounding the harbor of Hydra, and the picturesque streets of Poros. Have lunch on your own as you sail to Poros the smallest of the three islands. Return to Athens and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight accommodation in Athens. DAY 4: ATHENS / FERRY TO BARI Enjoy breakfast at the hotel with your group. Visit the Acropolis, the Parthenon & the Erechteum with a local guide. See the New Acropolis Museum built to house every artifact found at the Acropolis. Enjoy lunch on your own. In the early afternoon, discover the Plaka & the Ancient Agora. Travel to Patras. Dinner and night accommodation aboard a ferry to Italy. DAY 5: BARI / SORRENTO Watch the ferry pull into the port of Bari. Upon arrival, meet your Italian Forum Tour Manager. Then transfer by private motor coach to Sorrento. Make a stop in Benevento to see the Arco di Traiano (Arch of Trajan), the best preserved Roman triumphal arch in the world. In Sorrento, check-in at your centrally located hotel Enjoy some well-deserved leisure time. Dinner with your group at a local restaurant and night accommodation in Sorrento.
DAY 6: POMPEII / NAPLES Breakfast at the hotel with your group. Board your motor coach to Pompeii which was destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Meet your local guide and visit its impressive ruins. Later, continue to Naples. This afternoon, enjoy a pizza cooking class in Naples, the birthplace of Pizza! Make your way to the kitchen, roll up your sleeves and hear the secrets behind the city s beloved dish from your expert pizzaiolo. Enjoy dinner with your group. Night accommodation in Naples. DAY 7: NAPLES / VENICE After an early breakfast, transfer to the train station and board the train to Venice. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. Next, enjoy a guided tour of the historical centre of Venice. See the Piazza San Marco, the Palazzo Ducale, Ponte die Zoospore and Ponte di Rialto and visit the magnificent St. Mark s Basilica. Dinner with your group in a local restaurant. Night accommodation in Lido De Venice. DAY 8: VENICE After breakfast at your hotel, head into Venice Island. Board a Vaporetto and cruise to the island of Murano for a Glass Blowing Demonstration by Venetian artisans. Free time for lunch. Later, enjoy some time to enjoy the city at your own pace. At the end of the day, enjoy a gondola ride (6 passengers per gondola). Enjoy a farewell dinner in typical Italian fashion! Night accommodation in Lido De Venice.
