Arrival in Chiang Rai in the late afternoon and transfer to the hotel. Day 4: Doi Tung Mae Sai Golden Triangle Chiang Rai (B, L, D) Visit the beautiful King s Mother Garden, then proceed to Mae Sai which is at the most northern part of Thailand. Visit the infamous Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma meet. Take a boat ride along the Mekong River to ancient Chiang Saen, a city in the Chiang Rai province before returning to your hotel for dinner. Day 5: Chiang Rai White Temple *Chiang Mai (B, L) After breakfast, depart for Chiang Mai. En route visit the White Temple and have lunch in a local restaurant before you arrive Chiang Mai.
