Ltd. is authorized by Ministry of Civil Aviation and holds a Non Scheduled Operators Permit (NSOP) from DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) & Ministry of Civil Aviation for operating hot air balloon flights all over India. Camping Retreats of India Pvt. Ltd. operates under the brand name of Tiger Balloon Safaris.
We take all the necessary permissions from concerned authorities before operating hot air balloons. All flights are comprehensively insured. All flights are carried out by licensed pilots and engineers, licensed by DGCA. Benefits of Hot Air Balloon advertising/events: Balloons draw immediate attention. Financials/ Quotations: Total cost for operating one* hot air balloon for a day: Particulars Cost of hot air balloon Up to 4 Hrs./day^ 2 Lakhs/ per balloon/day** This is the cost for operating hot air balloon anywhere in India, tethered or free flight. *the company owns 4 hot air balloons but can arrange up to any number as per client s requirements. ^ Up to 4 hours of total flight including morning & evening on the same day
(2 hrs. morning/ 2 hrs. evening or depending on weather conditions) **this does not include the cost of banner & art work on the balloon. Rates quoted above are special rates for advertising, media & event management companies. Optimal time for flying Hot air balloons in India is from September March. Time period can change depending on weather conditions. Type of flight; tethered or free flight depends on location/ permissions. Terms & Conditions: 1. All flights will be as per the norms laid down by the DGCA and the manufacturer. 2. All flights will be with prior approval of ATC/ Air Force. 3. All local permissions (Police Commissioner, District Collector & sight clearance) will be taken by the client. 4. Assistance with accommodation for the pilot and the crew to be provided by the client. 5. ATC/ Air Force permissions will be taken by us. 6. For tethered operations, a minimum of 30 meters x 30 meters clear field should be provided. 7. In tethered operation, the balloon can go to a maximum height of 100 feet. 8. All flights and limitations will be as per the flight manual of the balloon. 9. Security at the location will be provided by the client. 10. Children below the height of the basket (4 feet) will not be allowed inside the balloon. 11. Expectant mothers will not be allowed. 12. People in an inebriated state will not be allowed. 13. No Smoking is allowed in and around the balloon. 14. All flights are from sunrise to 9 AM and 2 Hrs. before sunset. 15. Flights will not happen during rain. 16. Flights cannot happen in winds over 5 Kmph. 17. The final decision to fly or not rests solely with the pilot. 18. If for some reason a flight does not occur on one day then it will be compensated for on
the next day. 19. Company should be informed at least 15-20 days in advance before the event in order to obtain all prior permissions.
