On December 31, Vienna s old city center around the City Hall Square, Stephansplatz and the Prater transforms from @ 2 p.m. in the afternoon to 2 a.m. along what is called the Silvester Trail. Along this New Year s Path, dozens of gastronomes serve punch and culinary treats, and there will be a range of entertainment which could be humorous, show waltzes, an operetta, rock, pop and folk music, and a classical area on Graben. Every year it changes so one never knows what to expect, but we would recommend a wander around to see what is happening! A private transfer will take you to the start of the train journey and your evening. Toast the New Year as you travel back on an Imperial journey capturing the grandeur of the Habsburg era aboard the Majestic Imperial Train.
