Péru Enduro To follow in the footsteps of the Incas, to ride never-ending trails at 4000m altitude is the aim of this program, created with the help of my Peruvian friend Wayo. Discover the Sacred Valley close to Cuzco or explore the Sierra de Lima. In a program already tested by Richie Schley and Matt Hunter in person, discover the magical scenery and the extremely friendly population along the most beautiful trails in Peru over a period of eleven days and with more than 18850m negative altitude profile! Included -11 nights in a three star or equivalent hotel -9 days riding in the most beautiful spots in Peru; Villaquipan, Marcuhasi,Cuzco ( 7 days) and also ride the famous Megavalanche loop! -One free day (possibility to visit Machu Picchu)

-Return flight from Cuzco to Lima (possibility to stay longer) -Personal insurance -Machu Picchu tour -Alcoholic beverages -Laundry service -Tips Details : Day 1 : Participants arrive at Lima airport, met by our local guide Wayo. Transfer to the hotel in the Miraflores district. Sea, good restaurants, bars and cinemas close by. Unpack and reassemble bikes. Day 2 : 7a.m. rendez-vous in the hotel and leave by bus for a 4 hour long drive direction Villa Quipan, 180 kms east of Lima at 3650m altitude! The 40kms long trail is probably one of the best in the world! The finish is at Macas village at an altitude of 600m, so more than 3000m drop in altitude! Return to Lima around 6 p.m. Day 3 : Start from the hotel around 7 a.m. for the Marcahuasi plateau 150kms east of Lima and more specifically the village of San Pedro de Casta at 3150m altitude. From the village on horseback we climb towards the Marcahuasi plateau. A small snack and a visit to an Inca site before attacking one of the most challenging downhill rides. The descent has a more than 3000m drop in altitude and lasts three hours! Return to Lima about 6 p.m.
Day 4 : Early start in the morning for Cuzco (1 ½ hour flight). In the afternoon, first contact with the Inca trails. Start from Salkantay at 4200m altitude to finish at Cuzco, 3350m. The rest of the afternoon is free to visit the Inca site, souvenir shopping etc Day 5 : early start in the morning to Yuncaypata(3650m), one of the most well-known trails in the Cuzco area with it s jumps, steps, and tight bends. We pass through several Inca sites and it s possible to ride this trail twice. Rest of the afternoon free in Cuzco. Day 6 : 30 mins transfer direction Chinchero village(3750m). Passage through an Inca site and we start the ride in direction of Urquillos village (2950m) in the Sacred Valley. After a meal in a typical restaurant, transfer to the village of Moray (3650m). A one hour descent with a section through salt mine terraces. Transfer to the hotel at Ollantaytambo for the next four nights. Day 7 : Transfer to the Malaga pass at 4350m, so that we can ride the famous Megavalanche circuit! The trail lasting one hour is livened up by several jumps. The finish takes place at the village of Tanjca (2850m). It s possible to ride this trail twice. Day 8 : Free day where it s possible to visit the famous Machu Picchu. Departure by train from Ollantaytambo to the village of Aguas Calientes. From there you have to take the shuttle to Machu Picchu. Day 9 : Early morning start to the Inca site of Pumamarca, one of the first Inca sites discovered(3550m). Start out for a ride in direction of Ollantaytambo. This ride can be done twice. In the afternoon, visit of the surrounding Inca sites. Day 10 : We leave in direction of Calca village and on to the Lares pass (4350m). encountering villages and the local population, sections through gorges ; this trail which finishes at the village of Calca(2900m) is one of the longest in the Sacred Valley In the afternoon, return to Cuzco and a short ride on the high ground above the town. Day 11 : Transfer in direction of the Corao pass (3800m), followed by a ride in the Sacred Valley (2900m). In the afternoon, transfer to Pisac mountain with impressive views of its fortress. Ride in direction of the Sacred Valley, then return to Cuzco. Prepare the bikes tor the return trip. In the evening, visit the bars in Cuzco and share ride experiences. Prices 2250 euros or 2700 CHF
