TANZANIA - the adventure... Join Darran and Julia for the holiday of a life time! Tanzania is unique with its vast open grass plains and huge numbers of herding animals. We are targeting the mass plains migrations at a special time of the year for young animals. Last time we visited early in the year, we enjoyed baby lions, cheetah, zebra, birds and many species that use the limited summer rains as the best time to give birth. For this tour, we are using beautiful lodges and famous Safari Tented Camps of a high standard. This is not camping, but has the feel of camping in the wild s of Africa. Your bed is super comfortable, with en suit! Our vehicles have limited numbers, this offering the perfect elbow room with our pop top 4WDs and window space to optimise your shooting opportunities. We have shot at these locations before and guarantee you the chance to photograph and experience truly unique nature and cultural experiences - even for Africa! AFRICA - the adventure... Africa is a destination offering endless exploration experiences. Immerse yourself in the heartland of uniquely captivating images. In 2019 we invite you to photograph Africa through your choice of two magnificent tours: 1. Tanzania - February Ultimate Africa BIG GAME & Maasai... OUR UNIQUE QUALIFICATIONS Darran and Julia have a combined 70+ years of working in the travel and tour industry. Son s Pearce and Frazer also offer unique experience with Pearce guiding and working in over 50 events and Frazer working at many events and covering the businesses IT requirements. We are a family business... Julia became a professional travel agent in 1983. Julia has worked for travel retailers and wholesalers, plus of course many years as the office manager for our business. Julia is very travelled, having visited every continent and many islands. Darran first guided a group while working at Carnarvon Gorge in Central Queensland in 1981. He has a huge portfolio of photography work and accomplishments from guiding for several companies, to commercial shoots, books and to this day supplying articles for publications like Australian Photography Magazine. Darran has been involved with over 400 photo events around the world. Finally, World Photo Adventures is fully covered by Tour Operator Insurance. This is not standard travel insurance and is not available until a rigorous check of a businesses procedures and use of travel operators is made. 2. Botswana Chobe - March Ultimate Africa BIG GAME... Join us on this great life experience adventure... YES 30 YEARS... In 1989, Darran guided his first photo tour group to Norfolk Island. Julia guided a group of travel agents from New Zealand. They met at the famous island fish fry the rest is history... PAGE 2

Itinerary to photo adventure... DAY 1 - ARRIVE IN ARUSHA, TANZANIA February 16 Late arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, we will be picked up by our local driver/guide and transfer to Arusha as a group. Note early morning arrival. No activities today. We include lovely lodge accommodation and dinner. The lodge grounds offers photo opportunities and you have the option to visit town. (Note the flight to Tanzania is not included in the tour price. Julia will book this arrival flight as a group. This flight departs on the 15th and arrives in Arusha the 16th.) DAY 2 - ARUSHA February 17 After breakfast, we drive the short distance to Arusha National Park where you head out on an easy walking safari with a ranger. Walk through open plains and the lower slopes of Mt. Meru over to waterfalls. We are offered a different perspective of viewing wildlife from the ground level. There are also good chances of seeing black and white Colobus monkey. Optional: afternoon canoeing safari of Little Momela lake gives you a great opportunity to approach wildlife as they drink and wallow in the shallows. Continue with afternoon game drives before heading back to your accommodation. O/n Ngaresero Mountain Lodge (B,L,D) FLIGHTS FROM JOHANNESBURG TO ARUSHA & RETURN Julia will co-ordinate with the group on the best flight options for this tour. As of early 2018, we are most likely to fly Johannesburg to Kilimanjaro Airport (Arusha), via Rwanda. Rwanda Air supplies this service. We will try to book this and the return flight as a group. This flight is not included in the tour price. PRE TOUR Accommodation and services start for this tour - DAY 1. We suggest that you arrive at least 24 hours before this tour starts. This timing will give you a chance to relax and acclimatise to the new time zone. We generally commence booking pre/post tour accommodation/flights about 8/9 months before departure. NOTE: This itinerary is flexible to allow your guides to maximise your photo and travel interests to weather and unique opportunities. Specific villages and targeted subjects will be offered the day before departure. This will offer you the best of Africa. Meals not included in the itinerary, are organised to fit in with the days shoots. FINAL ITINERARY Note that a final itinerary will be sent to you about one month before departure. DAY 3 - MAASAI - NGORONGORO CRATER February 18 A big day today! We drive to Isoitok Camp Manyara, located in the middle of the Maasai community of Esilalei. We meet with our local Maasai guide who will introduce us to his village. This includes a better understanding of the natural medicines still used on a daily basis with a Maasai medicine walk of the surrounding area. Then we continue down to a Boma (mud dwelling) for an introduction into the traditional Maasai way of life, beliefs and rituals. We have a lovely fresh lunch near our new Maasai friends. We head into the mountains and to the magical world of Ngorongoro Crater. The rainforest is lush and often draped in clouds. We settle into our comfortable lodge which often offers subjects to shoot in the grounds. We are now ready to maximise the following two days shooting incredible game and predators. Lodge (B,L,D) DAY s 4 & 5 - NGORONGORO CRATER February 19&20 You have two full days to spend in the Ngorongoro Crater. There are 25,000 large mammals residing in the park. The elephants are mainly bulls, females stay out of the park due to it boasting the largest predator population in Africa. Black Rhino also make their home on the grassy plains, their numbers make up for almost half of what can still be found in East Africa; about 20 in total. Leave the crater late afternoon and transfer back to Rhino Lodge. Lodge (B,L,D) PAGE 3
