He joined recently the prestigious management consulting boutique Arthur D Little as Principal Head of aviation - transportation for the Middle East and South East Asia. While at Arthur D Little, Mr. Favre has worked on a wide range of issues at clients with significant experience in Europe and the Middle East, including several successful Low Cost Airlines (LCC) set-up or air carriers (passengers and cargo) restructuring and transformations, due diligence screenings, strategic sourcing negotiations, cost reduction mandates, mergers & acquisitions advisory, financial advisory, program office management, and strategic reviews. He has worked across a wide array of the travel, aviation and transportation industry to build 'Blue Horizon' from senior associate at another leading strategy consulting firm to director investments and marketing or vice-president business development (including aircraft leasing/acmi) and strategy with sound achievements and customer satisfaction. Colonel (retired) Shivaji Ranjan Ghosh, Director, Emergency Planning Enterprises (EmPlanE) Colonel (retired) Shivaji Ranjan Ghosh is an emergency management professional currently working in Oman Air. He also works as a consultant with aviation clients to develop and refine their emergency programs. Shivaji currently serves as an instructor with IATA s ITDI, Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) and Kenyon International Emergency Services (KIES) and is the owner and director of Emergency Planning Enterprises (EmPlanE) Shivaji established the Emergency Response Planning section for Oman Air, developing and implementing the company s emergency response plans, training, procedures, facilities and exercises. With his military background, he has wide-ranging firsthand experience in disaster and crisis management. He has had firsthand experience in responding to an air crash. An experienced speaker and trainer, Shivaji has presented widely on a large number of subjects that include emergency response planning, crisis management and many security related issues. Audiences and venues have included airlines professionals and international security agencies. Shivaji is an active member of the IATA Emergency Response Planners Task Force. He is an associate member of Kenyon International Emergency Services. Shivaji has served as an officer in the Indian Army from 1974 to 2005. He has been involved in airline emergency response planning since 2005. He holds a Master s degree in Defense Studies and Post Graduate diplomas in Human Resources, Computer Technology and Hospital Management Eliska Mundell, General Manager, Chapman Freeborn Dubai Eliska graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Transport Management & Planning, in the mid-90 s, and started her career as the Commercial Manager for MK Airlines, an aircraft leasing and charter company operating DC8 s and B747F s, from its base near Gatwick Airport in the UK. She then moved into the broker role, and worked as a passenger & cargo broker for Fineminster UK, gaining extensive charter experience worldwide with all aircraft types. Eliska then joined the Chapman Freeborn Group, first based in London in 2002, and then Chapman Freeborn Dubai in 2005. She has worked on many aspects of the Charter Aviation industry, covering both cargo, commercial passenger, Executive jets, and leasing, with many clients across the industry spectrum. Eliska was appointed General Manager of the Dubai Office in 2006, and has overseen a tremendous growth of the regional hub office, in conjunction with the Sharjah Head Office Dr. Mark J. Pierotti, Chief Operating Officer, Al Jaber Aviation Dr Pierotti has been in the aviation industry for 25 years, starting his career with British Airways as an Aircraft Engineering student in London then working as an Aircraft Engineer for the Airline. He also worked for Garuda Airlines Engineering, Emirates Airlines
Engineering as well as the Amiri Flight, Abu Dhabi in a Senior Airworthiness role. After his first degree at London he went onto complete his MBA at Edinburgh then back to London, City University to complete his PhD in Air Transport Engineering & Air Transport Management. He also holds a Fellowship of the Royal Aeronautical Society of Great Britain & continues to be a part time professor at City University London, teaching the Masters Degrees in Air Transport Management, Air Transport Safety & Aircraft Maintenance Management. In 2009 Dr Pierotti started Al Jaber Aviation LLC (AJA private jets) the UAE AOC / AMO & continues to run AJA today as the COO & Accountable Manager. Currently AJA operates a fleet of large executive jets (Airbus & Embraer) from Al Bateen Airport Abu Dhabi operating commercially World Wide under UAE GCAA CAR OPS 1 supported by a detailed SMS & FOQA programme & maintained by the AJA GCAA UAE CAR AMO. Also Dr Pierotti is the Accountable Manager & Head of Avisa Gulf LLC one of the leading Aviation Consultancies in the MENA region & one of the only few approved consultancies, conducting services in aviation technical, operational & commercial disciplines from Continued Airworthiness Management & Operations Oversight to Airline Start Ups & EASA Regulatory Harmonization for authorities, institutions, MRO`s & operators in the region.
