Program runs Sunday 3pm- Monday 3pm We have a wonderful opportunity for kids who want to go to camp like their older siblings, but just aren't old enough to handle time away from mom and dad. This session is a simple overnight camp that the parent experiences along side their child. Kids stay with their parent/guardian during the nighttime hours in the Retreat Center. During the day, we fill their time with activities, Bible stories, and lots of fun. Program runs Sunday 3pm- Tuesday 7pm Join us for a great first away camp experience filled with fun and excitement that will last a lifetime! Our staff will meet you as you arrive to get campers to their room and introduce them to their new camp friends. For 3 days campers will get a taste of all the fun that camp has to offer. Campfire worships, skits, games and lots of activities will keep campers busy all day long. We have afternoons full of crafts, swimming, hikes and field games. We end each day with evening campfires and cabin devotions! You will experience all of the great activities that make camp the awesome experience that it is. There are creative and inspirational camp style worships in the mornings along with daily Bible studies with learning activities. YES you can bring a friend! They do not have to go to your church or to a Lutheran church to attend. Register early! Campers from member congregations receive a substancial discount if registered by March 15th. After that date, everyone pays the regular fee. Your best friend at camp is your Onomia camp counselor. They are there for you 24/7. If you have ANY problems or questions, let them know whats up.
Adventure Club Completed Grades 6th-8th Offered: August 5-10, 2018 Fee: $460 per person Discount: Campers from Member Congregations who register by March 15th pay $410 Program runs Sunday 3pm- Friday 1 pm Join the CLUB for outside the box fun for Middle School students! Our adventure club will work to equip campers with the skills they will need to be adventourous in the great outdoors! You will learn skills and techniques to canoe well, and our NEW paddle boards will be a blast! We will head out on an overnight canoe trip from Mille Lacs Lake through Kathio State Park. Along the way we will camp out, cook some grub over a campfire, and hike Kathio!
Go to Online Registration Did you know... Camp Onomia has been doing its thing for 68 years. Life is a bit different now than it was in 1949, but what happens at CAMP today is as awesome as ever! We get you unplugged so you can be yourself. Making friends is easier, and our conversations obout Jesus are casual and meaningful. Yes we worship, do Bible study, and pray everyday. But at camp you will find these activities pretty laid back, fun, and challenging at the same time! If you havent noticed, you can get a free Tshirt voucher if you pay your camp fee in full by the March 15th date. Our camp store is full of Onomia gear, water bottles, and (of course) snacks which is open daily.

Program runs Sunday 3pm- Friday 1 pm In this awesome program, campers stay up late into the night and sleep late into the morning. God's creation is a whole different adventure during the dark hours of the night. There will be stargazing and night time games. You will also experience late night worship by candle light in the chapel at midnight! Campers will find this week a great break from the "normal " camp routine but still packed with all the fun games and memories of your previous experiences at Camp Onomia. Go to Online Registration
Night Hawks NEW PROGRAM! Completed Grades 9th - 11th Offered: July 22-27, 2018 Fee: $460 per person Discount: Campers from Member Congregations who register by March 15th pay $410 Program runs Sunday 3pm- Friday 1 pm Did you experience Night Owls in the past? LOVE the late nights and later mornings? Well then you've "graduated" to Night Hawks! As a Night Hawk, you will stay up even later, join in some of the activities that the Night Owls indulge in like late night games and evening shenanigans. But you will also develop leadership skills, lead a late night campfire, and a morning First Word at the Stone Cross. How about a crazy early morning swim thrown in for good measure?

But we have something special for you to experience at Onomia this summer that will not only get you excited about your faith, but challenge you to step up and make it your own! And those pesky confirmation classes next fall will be SO MUCH MORE interesting and useful. Camp is all about building relationships and a week of camp fun will give everyone something to bulid upon come fall! Great discussions, river canoe tripping, tons of games make this week an awesome experience. You will have fun building community and confidence on our low ropes challenge course! Awesome sunsets at evening campfire and special new friendships makes this a perfect time together.

We have two programs just for you! We know how much you love Camp Onomia and we hope that you can come back in your high school years to have some fun and to continue to grow your faith in this special place! The NEW NIGHT HAWK program is a refreshing take on the Night Owl week you've loved. Look for more chances to lead and more challenging activities. We have redesigned the old CIT and LEAD programs to engage you more fully in leadership training. We then bring you back for a second week of camp to help out when younger kids from your church are here. A sort of peer ministry experience and it is just for youth completing their 10th and 11 grade years. (You will need to be referred to us by your pastor or church youth leader to attend.) Drop them an email and say you are interested!
SIT: Staff In Training Completed Grades 10th -11th Offered: June 10-15, 2018 Fee: $100 per person (special reduced fee for campers from member congregations) Fee: $460 for all others NOTE: Discounted fee applies to Campers from Member Congregations who register by March 15th. After this date, you pay the full fee. Program runs Sunday 3 pm- Friday 1 pm You return a second week (to be arranged) at no cost to assist with youth from your home church. Experienced and engaging guest leaders and camp staff will lead Focused Leaning Times and Bible studies throughout the week. A key component of this staff in training week is that we INVITE YOU BACK for another week later in the summer when youth from your congregation are in camp to assist our summer staff in cabin leadership and activities! You get to mentor kids from your own church. How much fun is that!? Participation in this program is by referral only! This means you will need to be recommended to us by your church pastor or youth leader. So if you are interested... hit them up today! (They may even pay your registration fee if you are nice.)
