RE-OPENING On Monday, May 22, the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Near Universal Orlando Resort hosted a "Grand Re-Opening" to celebrate the completion of a full hotel renovation. All double rooms were upgraded to Queen/Queen rooms, and refrigerators were added to every guest room. Additionally, all amenities were updated, including the outdoor area, pool area, and fitness center. 8

Additionally, the Council hosted a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and yesterday, members of the ARC Board delivered donated items to Lockhart Elementary School - the Council's Adopt-A-School Partner - including uniforms for the students and education materials, totaling over $3,000. These funds were secured by the Allied Relations Council at the ARC Bowling Fundraiser for the Adopt-A-School Program last July. 13

CHARITY CHALLENGE For the 2nd Year CFHLA VIP Member Belfor Property Restoration participated in the 2017 Charity Challenge XXXII on Saturday, May 20 at the Camping World Stadium. Their team took part in tournaments including the basketball shootout, kayak relay, obstacle course race, tubing relay, volleyball and tug-of-war. The funds raised by Belfor during the event will benefit the CFHLA Foundation.
