15 th June 2015 Invitation It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 30 th Senior & 21 st Junior A.E.T.F European Taekwon- Do Championships 2015 to be held in Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Motherwell, Scotland on October, 22 nd - 25 th 2015. I sincerely hope that these European Championships will be a success for all Competitors, Coaches, Umpires, VIPs and Supporters. Looking forward to meeting all of you in Scotland in October 2015. Place and time of event The 30 th Senior and 21 st Junior A.E.T.F. European Taekwon- Do Championships will take place from October 22 nd to 25 th, 2015, in Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, O Donnell Way, Motherwell, ML1 2TZ, Scotland. Motherwell is a former industrial town mid- way between Scotland s two main airports, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Centrally located for transport links to all major Scottish cities. Glasgow City Centre is a 15 min train journey from Motherwell. Organizers All Europe Taekwon- Do Federation and ITF Scotland Head of the Organizing Committee: Mr. John McIlvaney & Mr. David Condie E- mail: info@tkdeuros2015.com Arrival Date and MeetingPoint Countries must arrive in Motherwell before or on Wednesday October 21 st, 2015 before 13.00 p.m and must proceed directly to the meeting point in the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, O Donnell Way, Motherwell, ML1 2TZ for accreditation and payments. Each country will be responsible for their own expenses whilst attending the Championships. Registration of the Competitors Competitors, Coaches, VIPs, Supporters and others registration will be coordinated by All Europe Taekwon- Do Federation. Countries may apply from June 15 th through the Online Registration under the link: http://euros2015.pztkd.lublin.pl/registration.php in order to receive the login to register the participants on- line. Competition Rules Competition rules will be the official International Taekwon- Do Federation Tournament rules. Weigh In The Weigh In shall take place on Wednesday October 21 st, 2015 from 09.00-12.00 and 15.00 to 19.00 according to the Weigh In time table per country in the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility. Competitors must find their own way to be present at the Weigh In. All competitors must be present at the Weigh In (nevertheless of the categories in which they are participating) showing the passport (or official national ID), Euros 2015 official ID cards, ITF small black belt card. All competitors must make the weight in their ITF approved dobok trousers and T- or polo shirt. A maximum of a 500 gram tolerance over the indicated weight division is permitted. Competitors not making their weight at the 1st attempt will have one (1) hour to present themselves for the 2 nd and last weigh in. If he/she doesn t make the weight then he/she shall be removed from the sparring competition category and shall not be allowed to enter any other weight category. Divisions The championships will be for Junior and Senior competitors. Juniors must be 14 years old on the first day of the competition. Competitors born in the year 1997 must participate as Juniors. Competitors born in 1996 or before are Seniors. Equipment regulations All competitors must wear the official ITF dobok and protection gear from the sponsors as shown at the ITF website (www.tkd- itf.org) under "Approved equipment". All competitors must use sparring competition protection gear in red or blue colour depending on the draw. 3

Entry fees The AETF Member Countries wishing to participate at the Euros 2015 in Scotland must have paid the AETF Annual Fee 2015. Competitors entry fee (both individuals and/or team members): 100.00 (Euro) per competitor (also for competitors taking part as only team members) Team entry fee: 50.00 (Euro) Attention The competitors entry fees can by transferred electronically and must by cleared by October 1 st, 2015 to the AETF Bank Account. Please remember to include the amount for the bank transfer costs at your end (5 Euro). If the AETF has to pay for the transfer costs then you will need to pay this back on arrival. Credit cards will not be accepted. Insurance The Organizing Committee of the European Championships 2015 will NOT be financially responsible for any possible injuries caused during the competition. All competitors must have full insurance coverage by their own organization/country. Free Training facilities On Wednesday October 21 st, 2015 free training facilities are available at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility according the following training time: 09.00 12.00 and 15.00 18.00 hrs During the competition a large matted area is available for warming up. 4

Accommodation Competitors, Coaches and/or Others Please note that ITF Scotland and/or Organizing Committee will not handle any accommodation booking. Therefore booking of accommodation must be made by, one person responsible for each participating country and ONLY through the appointed Agency. Accommodation starts with breakfast at arrival day until breakfast at departure day with no exceptions. In Motherwell there are various hotels / accommodations available, however the distance to the venue varies, the Travel Agent will do everything possible to accommodate all participants as close to the venue as possible. Accommodation will be allocated to participants in the order payment is received so the first to pay get the best rooms. Countries and their participants NOT booking their Hotel accommodation through the Travel Agency shall pay 100,00 per person to obtain the competition ID card. Delegations who need local transportation or transfer from/to the Airport should contact by e- mail: hotels@tkdeuros2015.com (with copy to info@tkdeuros2015.com). The following accommodation types are available during the championships: A. Accommodation in 3 star Hotel B&B only at the cost of 50,00 per person per day sharing a double/twin/triple room. / 65,00 single room per day B. Accommodation in 3 ½ star Hotel B&B only at the cost of 55,00 per person per day sharing a double/twin/triple room. / 70,00 single room per day C. Accommodation in 4 star Hotel B&B only at the cost of 65,00 per person per day sharing a double/twin/triple room./ 80,00 single room per day. Above mentioned prices provide Bed & Breakfast only. However there is the option to upgrade to full board at an additional cost (this can be quoted at time of pre- booking). All transport to and from the venue on competition days (Thursday- Sunday only) will be included in the price of the hotel. You must make your own transport arrangements outwith these days. Please note: That accommodations will be provided on first come first served basis, prices may be subject to change. Please note there are restaurants opposite the venue, and within walking distance. There will also be a range of snacks & lunches available to purchase at the venue s café each day. 5

Supporters Supporters wishing to obtain the supporters ID Card must apply for it through their National Association. The National Association shall insert them in the online registration website. At arrival at the Sport Stadium supporters must collect the supporters ID Card paying the amount of 30,00 in cash. The ID card provides the following advantages: a) FREE entry at the Sport Stadium (daily ticket cost: 15,00) b) FREE entry at the Taekwon- Do Party on Sunday night. c) DISCOUNTS in some shops/restaurants Supporters are NOT allowed to enter the competition areas in any case. Those not complying with this rule shall result by withdrawal of the ID card. How to book your Accommodation Step 1 Fill in and send the form Hotel Booking Application Form on or before August 31st, 2015, via e- mail to: hotels@tkdeuros2015.com (with copy to info@tkdeuros2015.com). The form must be accompanied by a prepayment of 50% of the total amount for each person listed in the form, addressed to: ACCOUNT HOLDER: TKD EUROS 2015 ACCOUNT HOLDER'S ADDRESS: Unit 3, Crathie Court, Castlehill Industrial Estate, Carluke, ML8 5UF, Scotland. Step 2 After the amount has been accounted, your booking will be officially accepted. This will be confirmed to the responsible of each Country. 6

Step 3 The accommodation balance must be paid on or before October 1 st, 2015. You may pay the whole accommodation amount in advance if you wish to do so. Step 4 It is possible to make small changes in the hotel accommodation reservation until October 1 st, 2015. After this date it is not possible to change the reservations and the accommodation form will be used as the base of calculating the accommodation cost for each country delegation. Umpires Umpires must arrive before or on Wednesday October 21 st, 2015 before 1.00 p.m. and depart on Monday October 26 th, 2015. The Organizing Committee will cover a 7 days/6 nights hotel accommodation including full board from Tuesday October 20 th to Monday October 26 th, 2015 for a maximum of 50 umpires. Umpires will be accommodated in twin/double (2 persons) rooms. Where an Umpire is sharing accommodation, the guest will need to pay the 4 star accommodation rate of 65,00 per day. Single rooms are not available therefore Umpires wishing to stay alone shall be accommodated in a double/twin room paying an extra fee of 30,00 per day. Umpires not selected, but wishing to participate and approved by the AETF Tournament & Umpire Committee, must cover their hotel accommodation according to above mentioned arrangements and will not receive any expense reimbursement by AETF. Umpires must attend the Umpire meetings on Wednesday October 21 st, 2015 from 15.00-17.30 in the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility. Umpires not present at the mentioned umpire meeting will be removed from the umpire list and shall pay their own accommodation expenses. Countries must send the 2015 AETF EC UMPIRE application form to the AETF Tournament and Umpire Committee on or before 15 th August to Mr. Attila Solti at: soltiattilazsolt@gmail.com (and copy to champ@pztkd.lublin.pl) order to apply for their Umpires to be selected for the AETF European Championships 2015. The AETF Tournament & Umpire Committee shall provide the Umpire booking list to hotels@tkdeuros2015.com, on or before August 31 st, 2015, in order to take care of the required hotel accommodation. 7

Coaches Please note that coaches are invited to the coach meeting held at the Ravenscraig Regionall Sport Facility on Wednesday 21 st October at 17.30-19.00 hrs. Countries may participate in the coaches meeting with a maximum of 4 coaches. It is the Coach responsibility to make sure that competitors who are not competing remain in the stands. Competitors found in the competition area when not called in the competition categories will have their ID card withdrawn by the AETF Tournament and Umpire Committee! It will be returned to the Coach after the payment of the fine of 100,00. Coach must wear a T/polo shirt or track suit jacket with his country name written at the back. Press The organization has its own Press staff. Those who wish to apply for a Press Badge can do so by sending application to info@tkdeuros2015.com. A maximum of five (5) press passes will be allocated. Cost of this is 30.00 How to get to Motherwell By plane Motherwell is situated between two international airports; Glasgow International & Edinburgh Airports. Both Airports are within easy reach with Glasgow International 38 km from Motherwell and Edinburgh International Airport, is 50 km. Transport can be arranged to and from the airport, please contact hotels@tkdeuros2015.com for a quote. By train Motherwell has a main train connection point from various cities in the UK. With links amongst others to Edinburgh, Glasgow Central, Aberdeen, London Euston. Currency The currency used in Scotland is the Great British Pound - GBP ( ). Make sure that you have exchanged your currency before arriving in Motherwell. Visa Delegations who need a VISA to enter the United Kingdom should apply to the British Embassy/Consulate in their country as soon as possible. As ITF Scotland is not recognized by the National Sport Authorities or National Olympic Committee, we suggest applying for a Tourist Visa. 8

Other matters Please note that Anti- Doping Commission is expected during the Championships. Extraordinary circumstances The Organizing Committee of the European Championships 2015 is NOT responsible for ANY consequences caused by possible delays or cancellations of air planes or other transportation used by the participating teams travelling to Scotland. Therefore the prepayment for hotel accommodation made before the Championships will not be refunded.
