Banqueting Milestones of Flight Banqueting If you are looking for an exclusive venue to really impress your guests, you can t get more unique than our selection of Hangars available for evening receptions, dinners and dinner dances. With three different areas available in separate locations around the Museum we offer a wide range of options for a variety of events. Milestones of Flight With the 80ft sculpture Sky Dance swooping over the entrance; Milestones of Flight is one of the most dramatic venues available in London. Celebrating 100 years of powered flight and boasting a stunning display of suspended aircraft, split level viewing and a flight simulator - Milestones of Flight is the perfect venue to impress your guests.
The Battle of Britain Hall Imagine guests arriving for a nostalgic walk through London in the Blitz and Our Finest Hour before enjoying a drinks reception beneath the historic Spitfire and Hurricane. Dinner will then be served beneath the wings of the magnificent Sunderland Flying Boat, seating up to 150 people for a dinner or 100 for a dinner dance. Banqueting The Historic Hangars The Historic Hangars With parts dating back to 1915 the Historic Hangars are an impressive venue for any exclusive event. Guests can enjoy drinks amongst aircraft such as the Tornado, Spitfire and Lightning and even take time to fly with the Red Arrows in our Flight Simulator before dining underneath the legendary Avro Lancaster.
Conferences We are pleased to offer a wide range of versatile rooms for all manner of meetings, conferences and product launches. In addition, all daytime corporate guests have complimentary access to the Museum including the Historic Hangars, Battle of Britain Hall, Milestones of Flight and Grahame White Factory during opening hours. Breakout rooms are also available with all conference combinations. The Close Brothers Military Services Theatre Our custom built Lecture Theatre has tiered seating for up to 224 people theatre style with fold down writing tables and a projection room offering state of the art audio visual equipment. Conferences The Halton Gallery The Halton Gallery The versatile Halton Gallery can be used as an exhibition and breakout space in conjunction with the Lecture Theatre or a function room in its own right. Located on the ground floor with adjacent access to the Historic Hangars, the Halton Gallery has 231 sqm of floor space, plenty of power and large windows allowing an abundance of natural daylight for the comfort of guests.
Boardroom and Cranwell Rooms With plenty of natural daylight, boardroom seating and air conditioning the Boardroom and Cranwell Room, used together or separately, are two impressive locations ideal for smaller, more exclusive meetings. Located conveniently close to the Lecture Theatre, Art Gallery and Halton Gallery, these rooms are perfect as breakout areas or exclusive rooms for VIP s and guest speakers. Exhibitions Dermot Boyle Wing Dermot Boyle Wing Boasting 480 sqm of uninterrupted floor space, ground floor access through a large loading bay, three phase power and air conditioning, the versatility of the Dermot Boyle Wing is endless. The Dermot Boyle Wing can accommodate a wide range of events including exhibitions, trade shows, auctions, product launches, car clinics or conferences.
