Air Traffic Summary June 23 Below is a summary of the June 23 Air Traffic Statistics Report, which contains passenger data for National and Dulles as well as cargo data for Dulles. This report also contains comparative BWI Airport and Airlines for America (A4A) U.S. industry enplanement statistics. U.S. industry average passenger enplanements as reported by the Airlines for America (A4A), Office of Economics: Enplanements June YTD.4%.2% 4.8% 2.7% System.9%.4% National Current month activity vs. June 22 increased 3.5% and was driven by 3.2% growth in domestic traffic primarily due to new and expanded service by US Airways and other carriers. Details by carrier follow: US Airways (mainline and regional) Overall 6.4% passenger growth and 26 additional daily departures New service to Minneapolis, Wilmington (NC), Ft. Myers, Myrtle Beach, and Augusta JetBlue - New service to San Juan Southwest - New service to Austin and St. Louis Alaska - New service to Portland (OR) Virgin America - New service to San Francisco

Passenger growth was partially offset by passenger decreases due to reduced operations by Delta and other airlines: Delta (mainline and regional) 6.5% reduction in passengers and fewer daily departures as a result of the slot swap with US Airways Discontinued service to Grand Rapids, Charleston, Des Moines, Hartford, and Indianapolis Frontier - Discontinued service to Milwaukee and Grand Rapids Spirit - Discontinued operations in October 22 passenger traffic growth of 7.6% was primarily driven by US Airways Express s new service to Toronto and Montreal Dorval. US Airways mainline had the largest commercial passenger market share with 9.5%; activity increased 8.9% compared to June 22. Including its affiliates, US Airways s market share totaled 44.3% and activity increased 6.8% compared to June 22. Dulles Current month activity vs. June 22 decreased 2.2% and was primarily driven by a 5.2% decline in domestic commercial traffic. Details by carrier follow: United (mainline and regional) Overall 3.% reduction in passengers and 4 fewer daily departures Discontinued service to Allentown/Bethlehem, Westchester, Staunton, Altoona, Morgantown, Pensacola, Manchester, Johnstown, and Clarksburg The service reductions were partially offset by new service to Grand Rapids, Fayetteville, and Ft. Lauderdale JetBlue - Repositioned Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale service to DCA Delta (mainline and regional) - Discontinued service to Cincinnati / passenger traffic growth of 4.4% was primarily driven by the following new service: United to Guatemala City; San Salvador; Vancouver; and San Jose, Costa Rica Emirates to Dubai, UAE Etihad to Abu Dhabi, UAE Brussels Airlines to Brussels / growth was partially offset by: United discontinued service to Accra and Moscow Aer Lingus discontinued service to Madrid 2

United mainline had the largest commercial passenger market share with 42.3%; activity decreased.2% compared to June 22. Including its regional affiliates, United s commercial market share totaled 65.5% and activity declined 2.7% from June 22. Overall, total cargo (mail and freight) activity decreased 8.7% compared to June 22. The decrease was primarily driven by: decrease of 5.8% as a result of United downsizing from wide-body to narrow-body flights to and from the West Coast. decrease of 3.8% as a result of the continued softening of the European cargo market due to the European economic crisis. These losses were partially offset by new service to the Middle East by Emirates and Etihad. BWI Current month commercial passenger activity vs. June 22 decreased 3.%. BWI s total commercial passengers totaled 2.M and surpassed Dulles by 72.2K passengers (3.5%) and National by 37.8K passengers (7.%). Southwest had the largest passenger market share with 7.4%; activity decreased 3.5% compared to June 22. 3
